Thanks @squishmycherry for the title. A massage gin sounds interesting !

@PinkDaydreams, why are you returning your speed track? I have ordered one, is it not very good?

Froppysue · 24/11/2021 15:32

Or York that should say…

Justhereforthechristmasthreads · 24/11/2021 15:33

@haveyoubrushedyourteeth

I couldn't get a car to loop the loop and the end kept curling up.
Another poster also pointed out which I think is true, that it's probably better suited to older children that have a bit more patience. The pp was buying it for a 3 year old but has returned and my boy is nearly 4 and has special needs and I feel it's not robust enough for that age group as it'll fall over easily.
I was tempted to keep it for the garden in the summer, whoosh cars into the pool, but have sent it back as I think it'll cause ds too much frustration.

@Haveyoubrushedyourteeth They’ve got a wash bag on the Disney Store.

Disney do collabs with Cath Kidston and Loungefly. I’m not sue how old your DD is but there’s a Loungefly Bambi bag reduced.

@Newdad19

Is anyone else really disappointed with Smyths? Theyv had really poor discounts this year and didn't even do the September discount on a £50 spend they usually have.
DH went into Smyth's today to pick up something that was oos everywhere else. Said it was rammed. People just filling trolleys high without even looking at prices. So perhaps they don't need to!? Really don't get why people would pay full price when there are so many good deals to be had elsewhere.
@Icantfindanewname I know the name is terrible but try quality diamonds online - they are from Hatton Gardens and you get to pick your own diamonds. I have a lovely pair I had made from there.
@Icantfindanewname
Seond this place. Agree the name isnt the best but it was great value and beautiful things.

Clarabellybutton · 24/11/2021 15:49

@Allmyarseandpeggymartin thank you for posting about Asda bed linen. I didn't get a Black Friday but I did get DD a brushed cotton Christmas Stitch duvet in kingsize. She will be absolutely delighted.

I've startd a thread asking for recommendations, hopefully that'll give us some ideas!

awmum2b · 24/11/2021 15:53

Not sure if been mentioned before but moonpig have 50% if you buy 5+ christmas cards

Fuckingfuckssake · 24/11/2021 15:58

Can anyone remember the really helpful poster from last year who recommended the drawing tablet? Not the LCD ones the kind that graphic designers use, I'd like to buy one this year and was hoping to pick her brains!!

Ewock · 24/11/2021 16:01

Not sure if this is helpful to anyone bit dobbies garden centre do a loyalty card. You pay £12 to join and get 2 free hot drinks every month (So save £6 straightaway if you get a drink when you join) then you get offers throughout the year and they do 20% off all things a few times a year. And on your birthday you get 2 free drinks and slices of cake. Figured you can easily make the money back just by getting the drinks every month

panicpidgeon · 24/11/2021 16:03

@Icantfindanewname i recently bought some lovely earrings from Astley Clarke and they have 20% off at the minute.

Froppysue · 24/11/2021 16:04

@Fuckingfuckssake it wasn’t me on the last thread, but I bought dd a wacom last year and it’s really good.

buckeejit · 24/11/2021 16:07

@Icantfindanewname I'd rec getting some simulated earrings from carat london-they're really nice & then you can be selective about size, otherwise you might not have a lot to choose from for that budget, (and them you can get other treats). Otherwise, look to auctions for antique for more bang for your buck

Tommyegansgirl · 24/11/2021 16:07

Does anyone have any Very codes at all? dont want to open a credit account x

buckeejit · 24/11/2021 16:11

@Fuckingfuckssake it was a Wacom - you could maybe do a search for it. I've been dithering over one for ds but not sure if it's worth it as we have an Apple Pencil

HarryBob · 24/11/2021 16:11

Thanks everyone for the great bargains again so far this year, love this thread!
I've picked up Super Mario Lego & a Switch for my Mario loving DS. Also got this Switch case Switch Case - it's down to £9.95 for Black Friday, was delivered quickly (free delivery) and is good quality for the price.

Haveyoubrushedyourteeth · 24/11/2021 16:13

@icantfindanewname when you're in the Shambles have a look in the York Ghost shop too. I get drawn in every time I go past, my Dc pointed it out when it first opened and now we have a little collection of York Ghosts that they love.

butterflymum · 24/11/2021 16:19

Can't remember the username, but based on their suggestions last year, I purchased some refurbished Wacom Intuits from the online website. They were, at that time, a great bargain. One was found to be faulty on Christmas day but was replaced (with a refurbished, but slightly newer style).

They were for young adults, all at university, and were well received and have apparently been used for drawing, photo editing etc during past year.

Wacom Refurbished

Justyou · 24/11/2021 16:20

Does anyone have an Argos discount? if they don't need could they pm me please.
Thanks!
