Thanks @squishmycherry for the title. A massage gin sounds interesting !

@BabbleBee

Will any Ugg discounts happen? DD(18) wants scuffette slippers but they are pricey!
I picked some up at country attire for £62.95, Ugg scuffette II in chestnut.
Dolphintrainer · 24/11/2021 14:44

@Charlottle thank you so much x

@Greenhand

Have been looking for lego Winnie the Pooh for ages. Not in stock for delivery at Argos and nearest for collection is 60 miles. Any other ideas as its v expensive without the discount
Is the same discount on Argos' eBay store? They ship nationwide from there, even if their own site says it's not available for shipping to your postcode.
Oneborneverydecade · 24/11/2021 14:54

@applepinkierainbow thank you. I've booked tickets to take the kids to watch The Snowman and DH and I are going to watch Mary Poppins. Our tickets were only £20 so I'm assuming our view will be restricted but conflicting information online

If she happened to be a size 3 or 6 (unlikely I guess!) they have some grey Scuffettes at Schuh Imperfects for £51.99

@Namechangesagain the speed track actually looks great and I love how it rolls up for storage. But it’s for my 3 year old and I think it’s too flimsy for that age, I made a loop to try it and it wouldn’t stand up so I think she’d find it frustrating. I think it’s good for older, more patient children.

buzzing · 24/11/2021 14:59

Am after some inspiration for my DD, aged 8, likes dancing, singing, baking, she's quite the fashionista too!

I need an equivalent present to the Gravitrax I've bought her older sister. Would prefer a "doing" present rather than a toy.

Buget around £30-40.

Delahot · 24/11/2021 15:02

Thanks for all the sewing kit tips.

Can anyone think of anything super cool to get a lad in his 20s for a secret Santa. Around £10. Don’t know anything about him except he likes rugby. I think most people are buying fun/jokey type gifts. Really racked my brain 🧠 but coming up with nothing. Help!

Ewock · 24/11/2021 15:04

Hi all does anyone have any idea about art pens? Not watercolour ones. I've seen Arteza brush pens but I was after ones that you don't blend. Hope that makes sense. Thanks

Look on Etsy, if you type in stocking filler it brings up all sorts of stuff, I've got ds18 a variety of funny little gifts, a Keyring personalised with his nickname and football team and a McDonald's dip holder for the car - which will no doubt be his fave gift this year!
thaegumathteth · 24/11/2021 15:07

Displate have up to 40% off with code BLACK. They're metal sheet prints that stick on the wall with magnets - we have a few and love them. They have loads of choice.

Icantfindanewname · 24/11/2021 15:07

I have a first world problem. I need to buy myself some diamond earrings 😁. Due to covid and cancer diagnosis and treatment, I've built up a stash of birthday/Christmas monies and want to treat myself (£500-750). Does anyone have any recommendations for an online purchase? I am very nervous as this is a HUGE purchase to me. Alternatively, I'm going RL shopping in York at the weekend, so any physical store recommendations also gratefully received.

Also, while I'm in York, what do I want from the Harry Potter /potions place in the Shambles, as it would be rude not to potter around while I'm in the vicinity...

IggyAce · 24/11/2021 15:09

@buzzing how about a fashion wheel style gift or models own books.
Baking subscription I think Bakedin do a good one.

IggyAce · 24/11/2021 15:13

@Icantfindanewname no tips on the earrings but I hope you find some, you deserve an amazing gift like that.
Since your in York don’t forget to call in the Bettys shop for Fat Rascals and also get a box of Yorkshire gingerbread.

Hoping that someone might be able to help with this one please. Dd has never asked for anything specific for Christmas before, just always surprises, but this morning she announced that she'd really like a Bambi bag from the Disney Store.
I've looked online and can't see anything, so wondered if anyone has been in who might be able to tell me if such a thing exists or if she's spotted it years ago and just decided now that she'd like it! We're a good couple of hours from a Disney store so don't want to make a trip if its not even a thing, if you see what I mean.

sorryiasked · 24/11/2021 15:14

Barbie dreamcamper down to £64 from £79.99 on amazon if you tick the voucher box

sorryiasked · 24/11/2021 15:17

@Haveyoubrushedyourteeth perhaps it's the kath kidston one? In disney so under women's handbags

DentalWorries · 24/11/2021 15:17

If anyone wants to book tickets to Backyard Cinema in Wandsworth or at The Troxy they have 50% off with code BLACKFRIDAY50

Martinisarebetterdirty · 24/11/2021 15:17

@Icantfindanewname I know the name is terrible but try quality diamonds online - they are from Hatton Gardens and you get to pick your own diamonds. I have a lovely pair I had made from there.

mogschristmascalamity · 24/11/2021 15:19

@Icantfindanewname

Sorry cant help but I m also off to York for the weekend. Also going to the potions cauldron. Cant wait!

@Haveyoubrushedyourteeth

Disney store only seem to have a Bambi washbag which probably isn't what she means

Amazon have a lovely Bambi backpack www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07W86R9JM/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_fabc_8A0E2MN0PCYW64VZ6GBH?psc=1here&_encoding=UTF8&tag=mumsnetforu03-21

@icantfindanewname I hope you're recovering well. I would highly recommend Ingle and Rhode ethical jewellers. Their customer service is top notch and their jewellery is gorgeous. DH and I got my engagement ring and wedding rings from them, as did my sister and BIL. They do items ready to buy or you can commission a bespoke piece.
Froppysue · 24/11/2021 15:31

@Icantfindanewname sorry I can’t help with actual earrings, or yours, but I really hope you find an amazing pair. I think the experience of picking some and waking out the shop with your wee bag would be better than buying online Flowers

@Haveyoubrushedyourteeth could she have seen a loungefly bag?
