I usually do mine the first weekend of December but I'm feeling particularly festive this year plus my DD5 is desperate to put it up.

Yes we put it up Sunday just gone. I adore Christmas & everything about it, plus my DS4 was desperate to! Also our baby is due around Christmas so am getting prepared early this year

It’s going up this Friday in time for the Late Late Toy Show!

Usually wait till the middle of Dec but DH bought us a new one yesterday and decided to put it up to check there were no bits missing (or so he said) so it's up and it's lovely

17th of DECEMBER here as we are having our Christmas party on the 18th.

I’d actually hate to put it up before that. Renders it very unspecial imo.

Not up here, although my phone's memories are telling me it was up this time last year it somehow feels too early this year.
My fireplace is decorated and gutter lights are hung up , although saving the switch on for the rest of the outdoor display going out this weekend. Doing it all in stages

I happen to have 1st December off work this year, will do tree when dd gets home from school. Can't wait! Very tempted to do other decorations this weekend but might deep clean instead...

My main outside lights have been up all year. I changed the batteries in them yesterday and they still worked

We put the tree up this afternoon and we've put out the rest of the outside lights out.

I've been feeling down lately so still not feeling christmassy but both DC are very excited now.

Good god no! People are doing it earlier and earlier. I never remember seeing Christmas stuff up before mid December up until a few years ago. My neighbour was waffling on that she’d put hers up last weekend and needed more tinsel and I was . Other neighbour has had Christmas lights up on their house for two weeks!

Surely you’d get bored shitless with it putting it up this early. I like to appreciate it so try to leave it until min. 2 weeks before. Also if you get a real tree it’ll be brown and dry from being in a heated house for so long and you’ll have been hoovering up pine needles for weeks!

Yeah up in the attic where it will stay until mid December . Seriously though what others do is up to them, just for us it's too early.

I have a real tree. It always lasts until new year. Comes down New Year's Day as I like a nice, clean fresh start to the year. Mine is going up tomorrow. The only day we are off together until we break up for Christmas on the 24th December!

No, it would be silly to have a tree up this early. Christmas wouldn't be special if you had a tree up for so long.
