Poor old Gary - he’s gone from money off his concerts to being drowned in hot chocolate 🤣. Thanks for the title @iklboo Grin

Cheeky ask but does anyone have an argos discount code?

Newdad19 · 18/11/2021 20:35

@MooseyMoo

Does anyone have a Matalan 20% code please?

I'll PM you

@Methenyouplus4

I'm after Dior Sauvage (I read it as Dior 'sausage' every timeGrin) for my 17 year old (his request). More £££ than I would normally spend on an aftershave for him, but I'm really struggling to think of anything at all for him this year.

The cheapest I've found is £43 for 60ml, but wonder if there are any better deals with black Friday etc?

@Methenyouplus4

If you create an account at Parfum Dreams there is £10 off with discount code AFFUK10 or £5 discount code with AFFUK5

Sauvage is £43 on there so you could either get £5 off with the second code or if you bought the larger size then you can use the £10 off. Hope that helps

IslaInthesun · 18/11/2021 20:42

The lavazza milk frother for 19.99 is a bargain, I paid £50! It's brilliant

I'm after a Barbour code too if anyone sees one. Thank you

Methenyouplus4 · 18/11/2021 20:43

@newdad19 thank you for that!

Knitsewthread · 18/11/2021 20:44

sorryiasked · 18/11/2021 20:44

I’m actually really disappointed in the gym shark sale, not as good as last year and more exclusions. A sports bra dd wanted isn’t reduced at all, tracksuit for dh is only 10% off. I only ordered dds leggings for £28 instead for £40, then grumbled about the £3 shipping lol.

@Prizepudding I’m looking for a theres gun for dh too. There’s lots of cheaper versions on Amazon/eBay but I don’t know what’s good or not.

RJnomore1 · 18/11/2021 20:47

@Newdad19 is Parfum dreams ok, I debated buying from there the other day but I’m sure the reviews were awful?

ChristmasCatBells · 18/11/2021 20:47

@Knitsewthread to tonie code REWXKGKO

I used the voucher last week. Ordered on 14th November and it arrived on the 18th. No problem at all

@NaturalBlondeYeahRight

Help. Got 3 kids aged 4 and 3 (let’s take a moment to think of the parents here 😀) to buy for, they don’t want toys as only small house so have got them a little mini oodie each but want to get something else, maybe a bit more interesting for child. Done books to death and I know my DS is getting a day out type voucher. I love the post office/stationary idea but it is more stuff. Any inspiration?
What about something bath related? Slime/crackle baff, colour changing bath tablets, bath foam, bath bombs with tiny toys in them or magic flannels?

@Haveyoubrushedyourteeth please check the version of your dds iPad before getting the Apple Pencil. I was gifted an Apple Pencil 2 and it wasn’t supported with my iPad (which wasn’t that old). I ended up upgrading and it’s brilliant, but would be gutting if she opened a pencil and couldn’t use is (I was!) it can’t be used on any iPhone so will be iPad use only, I fully recommend procreate too 👍🏽

You can use Apple Pencil (2nd generation) with these iPad models:
iPad mini (6th generation)
iPad Air (4th generation)
iPad Pro 12.9-inch (3rd generation) and later.
iPad Pro 11-inch (1st generation) and later.

@Froppysue is the pencil good? Do you use it for day to day note taking or drawing?

I'm really considering one to replace the never ending paper notebooks that I go through each year at work!

Puffalicious · 18/11/2021 20:53

Holland and Barrett BF deals are great. Boxes good but I scrolled for ages and got great bargains for stockings and teacher gifts. Including this Tisserand bath oil and a sensitive facial oil. Also picked up brilliant Aloe face/ hair cream for DS at 1/3 price and various soaps.

RJnomore1 · 18/11/2021 20:54

Good to know thank you!

WisestIsShe · 18/11/2021 20:54

@RJnomore1 I've used then with no problem. Trust pilot rating is 4.5 after more than 7000 reviews.

Haveyoubrushedyourteeth · 18/11/2021 20:56

@methenyouplus4 we call it sausage too! It might be worth hanging on because we're so close to black Friday but 43£ sounds like a bargain to me. I know I've paid much more than that in the past. I really miss Debenhams for things like this, their gift sets were always really good value and looked like a substantial gift.

Scout2016 · 18/11/2021 20:56

@sorryiasked thank you. Have messaged thfm to ask if they are used or new as description says both. Fingers crossed.

Allmyarseandpeggymartin · 18/11/2021 20:58

Dior Sausage hehehehehe

Prizepudding · 18/11/2021 20:58

@Froppysue, just spotted Boots have the theraguns discounted and code AFFBF10 gives a further 10% off, don’t think I will get a better discount than that. I’m worried about buying a cheaper version and it being naff so have bit the bullet and bought it.

Thank you so much @ChristmasCatBells - you've made my week! Just ordered it, such a good deal.

LeaderoftheAteam · 18/11/2021 21:00

Does anyone know if Mailmeg mice are ever discounted for black Friday? My little loves little things and I think a matchbox mouse might be perfect.

WineandDine · 18/11/2021 21:01

Someone was after a real life Yoto review…
Bought for my DS 3rd birthday last year and he, along with his 6yr old brother love it. We buy new stories for birthdays and there is also the daily podcast and radio which are great and slightly more suitable for older kids.
It’s really versatile and has become part of our dsily routine.
It would make a great present for anyone looking for ideas.
