Poor old Gary - he’s gone from money off his concerts to being drowned in hot chocolate 🤣. Thanks for the title @iklboo Grin
@buzzing I got some thermals from Lidl last year and they're brilliant! Both my partner and I got a base layer and I'm pretty sure they were less than £10 each. I believe they're back instore tomorrow.
Thank you PeachTea! We have a new Lidl in town that I haven't been in to yet so needed an excuse...!

torthecatlady · 17/11/2021 14:09

Thanks @sorryiasked - I didn't think of a download rather than physical copy. I'll keep that page bookmarked incase they have any Black Friday deals!

mummymilkfloat · 17/11/2021 14:09

@buzzing can definitely recommend Gravitrax, my husband does it with my 6yo, she can do it with a bit of help. Keeps them occupied for ages!

Crapbags · 17/11/2021 14:19

Thank you @Gladysrocker just ordered the Jurassic park t shirt for my Dino mad DS, great stocking filler:)

yoshiblue · 17/11/2021 14:25

@Carrie76 I would wait until Black Friday, usually Amazon devices are the best deals.

I'm waiting for a deal on the new paperwhite, if you want a basic one, they are selling the previous paperwhite for £75 I think.

Check the features between the old paperwhite and basic and wait it out! Grin

I’m looking for a pair of little girl dress up ‘high’ heels - you know, those plastic princessy ones, but ones that are slightly bigger than the usual 3+ age. My DD loves these in her dress up box but has outgrown her last pair. She’s a size 12. All the usual shops have ones that are about 18cm long like her last pair. Does anywhere do any a bit longer?

I’ve seen some proper shoes for girls with heels that she could use for dress up but she has wide feet and all those reviews say they’re rather narrow. Ideally just looking for a bigger size of the standard plastic slip on fancy dress shoes. Has anyone seen any about please?

SapereAude · 17/11/2021 14:30

@Newdad19

Has anyone spotted any jo malone discounts?
I posted one on the last thread, but can't remember what it was. Grin I know that I got a free 9ml cologne though! I'll have a look and see, but I think you're better off now waiting - there are usually some good ones (well, good for JM!)
PinkDaydreams · 17/11/2021 14:34

What's the cheapest way to get paco rabanne Phantom 100ml please? Cheapest I've found is fragrance direct at fragranceshop.com with an 18% off code taking it down to £62.32 but I'd love to get it cheaper!Grin

These ones consistently say they are large in size. I don’t know what a size 12 is in cm but these are 18cm long

Almost teen DD has announced she would like new sports kit from gymshark. It is pretty pricey. Do they do a Black Friday sale or ever release discount codes that anyone is aware of?

princessbear80 · 17/11/2021 14:49

I’ve previously bought light up trainers for DS in Sports Direct. M&S usually do some too.

noscoobydoodle · 17/11/2021 14:49

@theclockticksslowly - the Disney store does princess dress up shoes in different sizes- we had a couple pairs in an 11-12 (bought in store pre-covid).

TheBigFish · 17/11/2021 14:59

@Essexmate the spicery legend kits are lovely and meals can be made as healthily as you wish.

That was for @Puffalicious
SapereAude · 17/11/2021 15:00

Ok, it was: sign up to JM and use WELCOME and you get a free 9ml cologne. Not sure if it's still valid.

chocolatepudandchocolatesauce · 17/11/2021 15:00

@buzzing I'd also recommend the Gravitrax. Hours of fun. Definitely suits older children (and adults Wink)

Mummyoply · 17/11/2021 15:01

What do people gift their postman and window cleaner - both men and I have no idea? I prefer to give a gift rather than money. I gave them wine last year but it felt impersonal, I don't usually gift alcohol as people have such different tastes - any ideas? Around the £10 - £15 mark....

RainbowZebraWarrior · 17/11/2021 15:02
Rather niche unless you live in or wish to travel to Newcastle but the bakery recommended by the Hairy Bikers do courses. They are a social enterprise and their stotties are yum!
bigriverbakery.com/big-river-courses/
My Mam asked me to take her here after she watched the Hairy Bikers Tyne and Wear / Newcastle programme. I've just asked her if she will book me a Stottie making course 😊 (we are local)

EverybodyKeepCool · 17/11/2021 15:05

@RainbowZebraWarrior I would love to do that course too! I may or may not have eaten a whole warm stottie for research purposes when visiting my daughter Grin
You can get stottie kits too which may be easier for non-local foodies

Crazydogmumma · 17/11/2021 15:10

Does anyone have a code for Debenhams?

YouAreEnough · 17/11/2021 15:28

@beadyboo Gymsharks black Friday starts tomorrow. Sign up on their website for the alert and know what you want as the stuff goes real quick!!

Comefromaway · 17/11/2021 15:28

Any idea what I can get 20 year old student dd. She's asked for oyster card top up, Foyles gift card and money!

So far I've bought her a bottle of Japanese Whisky. She had an oodie for her birthday. I bought her a weighted blanket last year which she said was a game changer.

I'm totally stuck. She was coveting some jewellery from Olivia Burton but I can't remember what and everything I thought was nice she didn't.

Comefromaway · 17/11/2021 15:29

Do Lululemon ever have codes as I know she likes their stuff but it's out of her budget.

NotEnoughTime · 17/11/2021 15:39

www.thewoodlandgiftcompany.com/

have a mini sale on.

Might be worth a look?

PinkDaydreams · 17/11/2021 15:42

They offer 10% student/NHS discount in store of that's any help?
