Tesco Xmas slots 🎄

Just gone on at 05.40am and I’m 6223 in a queue already.
It doesn’t open until 6am !

I was in a queue for my Xmas shop, then went back in to do the week before, and got straight in. Strange.

I've decided to save time and go to the shop.

Joined the queue at 5.56 (after ignoring my phone beeping at me ten minutes earlier. Joined the queue at 108k, nervous times when I got to 6k and the queue was paused for 5 minutes 😬. Ended up with a click and collect as all the delivery slots for the 23rd and 24th in my area had already gone.

Finally got in but all Christmas slots gone

Mine’s suddenly gone down to 15 mins

It seems to be really inconsistent which is not great.

I am permanently logged in on the iPhone app. Went on at 5.30, no queue but no slots available. Went back at 5.50 and I was over 51,000th in the queue. Took until about 6.40 to get in.

Seems really odd that some people are going straight in.

I'm done to 5 mins but still 20k people in front of me?!

Just got in after queuing since 6, latest I could get was 22nd.

Finally got in after an hour and a half and the best I could get was 22nd. Wonder why I bother with a delivery pass!

Finally in and can't get anything later than Sunday 19th. What a waste of time.

The one day both my girls decide to sleep past 6 so I didn’t log on to the app until 7 and am still in a queue. I’m away for Xmas so don’t need a “Xmas” slot but will need food in that week!

I went in the shower when was 57000 in the queue. Came back and found it had logged me off. But I logged right on and got a Christmas Eve slot.

I’m the opposite- used to be impressed but now there are never any slots unless you book 3 weeks ahead and then you go in to edit closer to the time and either everything is now out of stock or it fails to checkout again meaning you’re stuck with whatever you shoved in there three weeks previously

Got in, logged in and it took me back to 25 mins 😡

I've managed to get straight in on the app, chose the 22nd as I always prefer to get veg in person. Website tells me there's an hour wait though. No idea why it's so different!

Got in through app and got 20th everything else booked

Had to queue on the app but when I got on everything was available. Always go for the 23rd as that leaves Christmas Eve for any last minute shopping if anything doesn't get delivered.

Just got in and not showing anything past the 6th dec. FML.

I had forgotten Tesco Christmas slots, opened Mumsnet this morning and saw this thread, got straight in on the app and booked 23rd! Thank you @goodnightgrandma you saved me some stress!

Help! I’ve got on after queuing Why is my app only showing up to the 6th December!!?

I can only get 6th Dec.

I have a Waitrose shop booked for 21st but if I could get 22nd or 23rd with Tesco I'd have cancelled it.

Never mind eh. Waitrose it is. With another shop in person nearer the time
