I remember last year there was a brilliant site for Christmas ribbons. I'd like fabric ribbon as I do brown, craft paper and the recipient can keep the ribbon and reuse.

Somewhere without horrendous postage would be magic. Anyone have any ideas?

Can I ask where everyone buys their crystals? I need to buy for teen niece, I think she’s only just starting a collection so not too fussy about which ones exactly but online is a minefield (no pun intended). I’d like ethically sourced as far as possible.

In the past I've bought them from little independent hippy type shops. The sort that sell dreamcatchers, ethical clothing, lovely silver jewellery etc I've also seen them in independent gift/craft type places

Has anyone seen any polar express pyjamas, t-shirts or jumpers anywhere? I've seen some on Etsy but it's going to be pricy buying them for the whole family. We're doing the polar express Santa thing this year and as the dress code is pyjamas wanted to see if we could get any themed ones.

Just get someone to type it, print it and laminate it? Good idea 💡 though!

I Usually buy DH one every Christmas from photo box but now there’s 4 of us and DS is in school, their normal calendar just doesn’t have enough room for me to write everything in so was looking for a family calendar (with 4/5 columns) that I can add our own photos to. The keyrings fit a rolled up note and are waterproof, so you could just keep a list of numbers inside instead of a £20 note - just cover the numbers in sellotape just in case it's not 100% waterproof.

Those asking about the John Lewis points, yes tcb have always given them as avios/British airways points. It’s really annoying but I did set up an account to collect them just in case.[/quote]
You can convert Avios points to Nectar points, so might be worth setting up an Avios account if you'd be getting a decent chunk of points via TCB/ JL. When I did Thai in the summer (with the thousands of Avios points I'd never use) it was a really good exchange rate, so we ended up with a lot of nectar points. Of course, not great that nectar then cancelled the Xmas double up, but I'm still more likely to spend nectar than Avios.
