Just wanted to say thank you to this board. I've just been diagnosed with breast cancer (caught very early and all straightforward thank goodness). My treatment plan is going to be decided next week, but I imagine it will begin in the run up to Christmas so I'm trying to get everything sorted now. My method of Christmas shopping is usually pretty much wander around the shops in mid December totally clueless and hope inspiration strikes! Thanks to this board, I have never been so well organised in my life!!

Another tangent (although they still have a few jute bags in the sale which were mentioned earlier in the threads) but I’ve seen whistlefish cards are selling their standard greeting cards 10 for £7 this weekend (usually £10) if anybody needs to stock up

So guys you have all been so wonderful at helping me that I feel much more prepared. Slight blip in school meaning I literally only get half an hour kid free and that has to be spent in meetings but anyway I've managed all external family, friends, 1-2-1 presents etc.
I've had a good think about the kids. They want a go kart but daddy has promised to build one with them and I'm not at a point where I want to say he can't. So I'm thinking I could get this between the three of them? It means they kind of get something they want but it won't upset hubby or them.
Does anyone know the best site to buy from or the best price. Money is very tight but I'd like to get it as I know it would help massively with distraction this year so any saving would be great.
