If you’re posting anything specifically for me please do @ me or I may not spot it. It’s helpful if when sharing bargain info you bold it to make it easy for people to differentiate between chat and bargain links.

I need a decent discount on Lego! Or someone wiser and more savvy than me to tell me where to get the best deal.
Looking for a car of some description for ds19 - lots of kits over £100 and I’d love to get some money off this as budget is almost blown Blush
He always gets Lego every year ….it’s tradition!

amazeandastonish · 14/11/2021 11:19

best hair straighteners for wet hair please and best deal?

RainbowZebraWarrior · 14/11/2021 11:21

I also got the lights - one pickwick and one canterbury belles. Along with 4 snowman / penguin hot choc bombes (a much more reasonable £1.25 now, down from original price of £1.99) And I decided to chuck in a knock off M&S style snow globe gin as it was the only one working on the shelf. Only £13.99

Really want that Next beauty box now. Hoping it comes back in stock. Do they sell them instore does anyone know?

For the PP asking about the bakedin Cinnamon buns, I'd set up a Camel Camel Camel. I got about 4 boxes last year at different times throughout November. They are gits for being discounted at stupid times briefly at 3am, so if you are ever awake then you might hit lucky!

I also don't have a confirmation email from lancôme and it isn't in my junk/spam etc

@Runforwine
Comic books?
CatStronauts cats in space Grin
HiLo alien lands on earth- very funny
factual about dinosaurs - it's older but mine like looking at the pictures & reading wee bits on their own

Not comic books-
Dinosaur cove about two boys who journey back through time to see different dinosaurs. They're very very formulaic & there's loads of them so perfect for beginners confidence.
Wrenly this is my wildcard Grin no space or dinos but two kids having adventures & a dragon. A kind of medieval fantasy adventure for kids. Lovely wee books big print & interesting adventures to follow.

@Member345787 Not sure if this is the same website that was mentioned on this thread but I currently have a website open that sells musical ornaments. Slightly pricey but lovely items on the site thechord.co.uk

Me neither. I do have a PayPal receipt though. Although if they cancelled it at least I wouldn't have spent 20 odd quid on blusher that I haven't even tried.
SingaporeSlinky · 14/11/2021 11:37

Has anyone bought Stackers jewellery boxes in the past? Do you think the current offer is a good one, or should I wait for maybe a boxing day sale? Looking at the set of 4, it’s currently reduced from 80 to 64 which is still a lot for a jewellery box, but I know they come highly recommended. I’m looking at buying 2 sets, so I don’t want to buy now and then find them 50% off later!

recklessgran · 14/11/2021 11:38

I might have just got the bargain of the century in the Holland and Barrett penny sale with codes and cashback. 2 bottles of CBD oil and a couple of other normal oils, buy one get one for a penny. That's £148.98 pounds worth but the code HOLLAND25 gives 25% off orders over £60 so that brought the basket down to £55.89. Great - thrilled with that alone BUT TCB is giving 25% cashback and immediately tracked at £37.24. That is bonkers and if TCB pays out [which I very much doubt] I'll only be be paying £18.65.

Justhereforthechristmasthreads · 14/11/2021 11:39

See on Aldi website the christmas squishmallows show as delayed. Do we think they may still be in store on Thursday? My covid isolation doesn't finish until midnight on Friday so wondering if I should be briefing family members to go and look for me Grin

Number109 · 14/11/2021 11:40

@PinkDaydreams I had the same question about the speed track. When I tried it the first time, the loop just kept falling over. I might try it again but I’m tempted to return it at the moment.

mumonthehill · 14/11/2021 11:42

My Lancôme confirmation email also went into my spam folder.

2319inprogress · 14/11/2021 11:42

@Hanswurst
What kind of books does he like?
A classic like Treasure Island is a great adventure but the language is a bit harder work.

Brandon Mull's amazon.co.uk/Fablehaven-Complete-Set-Boxed-Sanctuary/dp/1442429771/ref=mp_s_a_1_2?crid=1FUQIXS9VHLS2&keywords=brandon+mull&qid=1636890055&sprefix=brandon+m%2Caps%2C85&sr=8-2 Fablehaven]]? Younger maybe but bigger books.

SingaporeSlinky · 14/11/2021 11:43

Can I ask where everyone buys their crystals? I need to buy for teen niece, I think she’s only just starting a collection so not too fussy about which ones exactly but online is a minefield (no pun intended). I’d like ethically sourced as far as possible.

AnimalTheDrummer · 14/11/2021 11:44

@MrsLannister

Looking for recommendations for my wonderful MIL. She’s had a tough time with covid and hasn’t been anywhere for ages but we’ve persuaded her to visit for Christmas and really want to get her something lovely

I’ve bought her the espa next box but would love to get her something else. She loves ‘spooky’ things like angels and tarot and goes on loads of courses to do with aura reading etc

The works sometimes has books about tarot and angels etc for a good price. What about a specific Crystal for healing? If she wears jewellery you can get a ‘cage’ on a necklace to wear the crystal round your neck. Does she like astrology? I’ve seen lovely prints on Etsy of the star sign name, what the sign represents and a nice picture. I can’t remember the name of the particular seller I looked at but there were a few lovely types on there. If she’s into moon and star things, you can get a lovely prints in Asda of celestial type scenes and some of them were in the homeward 25% off. Also ‘under lucky stars’ is a company that print the constellation in the night sky from a particular date so you could do her birthday? Can you tell I have a couple of people in my friends and family group who are into spiritual things.

That's how I feel! Feel it's a waste of money and not happy with it at all at the minute

guineapigs · 14/11/2021 11:55

@IAmSantaOhYesIAm I would wait for Black Friday. Argos, Amazon and Lego usually have good reductions

Summertime10 · 14/11/2021 12:03

£10 boost reward for Argos purchases £100 or more through quidco.

Those wondering what's in the Lancome GWP - it looks like it might be the same as this set of minis www.thefragranceshop.co.uk/lancome/gwp/eau-de-parfum-gwp/p/43157

  • La Vie Est Belle, Advanced Genifique, Hypnos Mascara

@PinkDaydreams

For the people that bought the speed track, is there some sort or trick to getting a car to loop the loop? I've tried numerous times but the car falls off mid loop!😳🙄
Oh no, I ordered one last week when the 5m came back into stock Maybe worth contacting them as people have said before they’re very helpful. I’ll definitely try mine out when it arrives then…
