If you’re posting anything specifically for me please do @ me or I may not spot it. It’s helpful if when sharing bargain info you bold it to make it easy for people to differentiate between chat and bargain links.

@BunnyBerries thanks for the Lancôme code! Fab free gift as well

RJnomore1 · 13/11/2021 18:12

That Lancôme offer is great, I needed mascara anyway, it took 25% off, gave free shipping, added a beauty box which looks to have a perfume, serum and possibly mascara too although I couldn’t find details (imagine they won’t be full size but all the same) plus two perfume samples. £15.75!

Thegirlhasnamechanged · 13/11/2021 18:12

Thank you for the inspiration on what to buy awkward Dsis on the last thread. I had a tab open on what to buy her and she has just messaged me saying she’d quite like either a “fancy” scarf or a blanket scarf. I’ve got one from accessorize (a glitchy bargain from these threads a few years ago) but wondered if anybody had seen any decent ones on their travels, online or otherwise?

LittleLego · 13/11/2021 18:19

Thank you for the Lancome code, my favourite ever mascara. I've done very well at buying gifts for myself this year, not quite so well for DFamily 🙈

Scout2016 · 13/11/2021 18:23

@duckduckswan sainsburys theoretically had for £24, don't know if they really had any in store.
B&m £25 and stock checker indicated good availability round me.

BernardBlackMissesLangCleg · 13/11/2021 18:27

5.1% cashback on topcashback for Lancome too.

I bought a Juicy tube - retro!

Dogmatix34 · 13/11/2021 18:28

I’m the same @littlelego! I’ve got the Elemis set, the neom box and now the Lancôme deal all for me!

TuftyMarmoset · 13/11/2021 18:36

I've just bought myself a non-festive new iron and found that AO have their Black Friday sale live now - and does include some more gifty things like xbox games, hair straighteners, smart tech, tablets etc.

clpsmum · 13/11/2021 18:38

@LittleLego omg glad it's not just me. I've been so good to myself lol

Someaddedsugar · 13/11/2021 18:40

Somebody mentioned QVC having a L'Occitane special but thing - apologies I can't remember which PP mentioned it but I was wondering if anyone knows when it will be?

Thank you for the suggestions for DGrandad - love the coasters and love the biscuits for his wife. Going to spend a little bit more and get them a mug each so they have a nice treat for a Christmas Day coffee Smile

flowerpower32 · 13/11/2021 18:41

@Thegirlhasnamechanged this scarf could work? Further 20% off today too so bit of a bargain! www.oliverbonas.com/accessories/star-print-black-pleated-hair-scarf-315660 Oliver Bonas

flowerpower32 · 13/11/2021 18:43

@Thegirlhasnamechanged actually it does say hair scarf... so maybe too small

Several threads ago, someone recommended a site selling musical instrument Christmas ornaments. By the time I had confirmed with SIL that DN does play violin (was 95% sure but started to doubt myself) I can't find the site. I have searched Etsy in vain today.

Would anyone know and be kind enough to repeat the site for me here?

psuedocream3 · 13/11/2021 18:49

Oh tempted by the lancome foundation, I can't quite make out what the last product is in the free gift, does anyone recognise what it is?

I'm trying to get some more premium bits of makeup for my daughters hamper as she has lots of cheap 'brand makeup already but she wants to learn to do it properly. If anyone sees any good value sets, or free gifts with purchase I'd be very grateful.

Also, does anyone know where I can get shredded tissue paper fairly cheap? Not the straw like hamper stuff, as it's for childrens gift bags, they are rather large gift bags.

SapereAude · 13/11/2021 18:49

Can we have a friendly reminder that there's a referral thread for referral codes and it's nice to be transparent (on the referral thread) and say how much you'll get if people follow your referral link?
Ta. Brew

SapereAude · 13/11/2021 18:51

(sorry, I feel I've been really snotty there but I just noticed the referral codes have been posted thick and fast on the thread over the last couple of days and if we all did it, Reastie would need 5 threads a day)

Most of the Tales from Acorn Wood, including the new one, are down to £3 on Amazon. Bought a set for my new niece.

@SapereAude I don't think you sound snotty, it did need a little reminder, I'd noticed it too.

Oneborneverydecade · 13/11/2021 19:06

I want to take advantage of the Lancôme deal but have no idea what to buy. My perfume is about to run out but it's still £66. I do need a new mascara - can someone please tell me which is the most easy to wear every day one?

Twonka · 13/11/2021 19:12

@silky86

Can anyone help? Ordered a couple of football kits from footballs best 4u (recommend a couple of threads ago). I opted to pay by PayPal but they didn't ask for the money immediately instead have sent an email saying that they have sent a payment request via PayPal - but I can't see anything- any ideas??
The whole thing felt very dodgy to me so I cancelled
Newdad19 · 13/11/2021 19:12

For anyone who's buying from boots and maybe isn't spending over £30 you can get £2.50 off a £20 purchase with code MA25QM

clpsmum · 13/11/2021 19:13

@Twonka that's a shame I've had loads of kits from them and they're great. It is weird the way you have to
Pay and how long you wait for delivery though. Well worth it though
