Shamelessly looking for ideas for myself. DH forgot my birthday this year (we had a lot going on) so is wanting ideas of "something decent" to get me this year to make up for it.

I am unreasonably hard to buy for. I'm low maintenance, don't have any particular hobbies, buy myself things when I need them etc. I usually give him a list of stuff like new slippers, face cream, bottle of booze type of thing.

I don't really need or want anything in particular and would be perfectly happy with my usual stuff but he unreasonably wants to get something more substantial.

Sooo what is on your wish list that I might want to ask for?

We're all keeping it simple this year due to budgets and focusing on the children in the family but stuff I will appreciate/really want:

Books (from DH and kids)
A nice set of pyjamas (from my Gran)
New ankle boots (from my parents)

The blue sourz was a curve ball I've got to say.

None of us have much money. I am hoping to get

Warm socks and a box of vegan chocolates - from DH (which I will buy on his behalf because he's too disabled to deal with that)
Nighties - DSis
Bedside lamp - DS and DIL
Money from MiL which I will use for ebooks at Amazon.

Something uplifting would be nice! Especially after such an up and down year. I've seen some ads for Soul Analyse, I like their 'I am strong' ring. Although it's less than £15 so hardly extravagant Hmm
