Thanks @Bezzi for the title. Poor old link being colicky 🤣

Thank you so much for this.
Just bought for ds1 and Ds2. They love a slushie. I might get flavourings for their stockings.

Was someone looking for an aldi pogo stick? I didn't read the reviews but looking at the star rating they don't look great!

@MalingeringMary

Anyone have any advice on Loom Bands please? Been asked for a set for my 10yr old gid daughter, and I haven't a clue!
I can't vouch for the quality but my 10 year old has requested this one that she saw in the smyths catalogue.
Mustangsallyis · 07/11/2021 11:52

Someone was looking for some Christmassy doormats a few days ago - Aldi have some in their special buys today

@Reastie the blog says tomorrow but I saw 13th somewhere too. I’ll let you know if I work it out!

takethattime · 07/11/2021 12:24

@greyinganddecaying

Thanks *@takethattime* - the one I've seen says it starts in 13 hours, is that the same one?
It might come up earlier as a pre-launch. It’s a case of keeping an eye on the website.
Allmyarseandpeggymartin · 07/11/2021 12:26

Aldi have got retro pickwick and canterbury bells fairy lights for sale BUT they are modern LEDs so 360 lights per string only £12.99 on pre order.

I may have bought 5 sets Blush

RainbowZebraWarrior · 07/11/2021 12:41

@Allmyarseandpeggymartin Wow! They look so fab. It's been a long time coming bringing those back. Sadly now both showing sold out online and look in store from 11 Nov.

buzzing · 07/11/2021 12:43

@Famousthehero

Bit random and not a bargain, but I just bought a barn owl pellet for my daughter to dissect from an owl sanctuary here Thought it might be a fun stocking filler for a school aged child if anybody is looking for ideas (I haven’t received it yet, so can’t vouch for it).
Thank you - just bought with the guide book for my very hard to buy for husband!
Allmyarseandpeggymartin · 07/11/2021 12:46

@RainbowZebraWarrior Hope you get some, I love a retro Christmas decoration

PinkDaydreams · 07/11/2021 12:55

roughly up to what age are you finding that children play with toy kitchens?

Rockhopper81 · 07/11/2021 12:55

@Allmyarseandpeggymartin

I now need those lights - will be at Aldi on Thursday then!

Beakerandbungle · 07/11/2021 12:58

Oh man I’m gutted to miss the Canterbury bells.

It would be wrong to move house so I’m near to an actual Aldi store just for Christmas stuff, right 🤔😁

Dreamingofwalden · 07/11/2021 12:59

@guiltynetter I have bought a Dino train set for DS2 (2). We already ready have a train set due to DS1 so thought this would be something different. If you can hang on for a bargain I think there may be a Lidl one coming out in a few weeks. I went for BigJigs who also have lots of Dino accessories like trains and bridges if you didn’t want the whole set.

Has anyone had it confirmed that the QVC referral is now up to £50 spend please? Everything I have and part of site says £25 still but sister trying to use it on HC chocolate is getting "not eligable" message. It defo hasn't been used 5 times this year either.

PinkDaydreams · 07/11/2021 13:09

I dont suppose anyone has seen anything like the attached in a real life shop please? DS loves the gingerbread man story so thought I could buy him a felt one, going shopping tomorrow but not sure if anyone has seen any on their travels and can recommend a shop please?

Thank you all, so many good bargains x

Member212711 · 07/11/2021 13:18

If you're looking for eco crackers, then these are good from the RSPB shopping.rspb.org.uk/christmas-shop/christmas-crackers/ and there are other lovely things to order from them too. Postage is a thing, but it's a great cause to support!

Rainbow loom are good. Cra-z-loom also good as mentioned by pp.
thaegumathteth · 07/11/2021 13:20

@Elphaba17 @MalingeringMary

Just a heads up in case you have pets - keep the loom bands away from them. Our dog ate a whole load and it was an expensive vets bill!!

Getoutofbed25 · 07/11/2021 13:33

@PinkDaydreams Flying Tiger had these for £1 to hang on the tree.

Thank you, unfortunately no flying tiger anywhere near me :(

Riverhouse · 07/11/2021 13:43

@PinkDaydreams Home Bargins had gingerbread man sew your own bunting for (I think) £2.99. Could make them and just not attach them to the string
