Thanks @Bezzi for the title. Poor old link being colicky 🤣

@Billyandemily

Hi does anyone know the cheapest I can get a henry hoover in red? The best I've seen so far is £99 on amazon but thought if anyone could find a bargain it would be you lot 😆. Its a early Christmas present to myself
I got a Henry for £79.99 on Amazon in September. I'd wait for Black Friday...
Haveyoubrushedyourteeth · 06/11/2021 21:11

@animalthedrummer and @coolpattern thanks such a lot for your help. All ordered and winging it's way here soon.

RainbowPhilosophy · 06/11/2021 21:14

Thanks for all the suggestions so far for FIL.

If anyone missed out on the Elmer's slime kits on WHSmith I've just seen this one reduced on Amazon (£8.49).

chillimice · 06/11/2021 21:15

Good price for banagrams £8.76 on Amazon

Minionbums · 06/11/2021 21:27

My DD wants the massive Vtech marble rush adventure set that’s £52 at Argos/Amazon - has anyone seen that cheaper at all please?

Motherofplants · 06/11/2021 21:38

@Minionbums I'm curious about marble runs. My little boy would love one, but to me it looks like a massive choking hazard? I'm not usually danger obsessed, I think it's the perfect spheres that freak me out (and the impending next baby due January). What age do people feel safe with marble runs?!

Minionbums · 06/11/2021 21:41

My DD will be 5, and she’s the youngest so no toddlers in the house. But she’s been playing with marbles safely for a few months now. I guess it depends on the child a bit.

vivicrocodile · 06/11/2021 21:48

Not a bargain, but...Does anyone know if I can buy physical Xbox gift cards?

I had one in my Amazon basket but as I went to check out, it said it's a digital one and it'll be available in my 'games library' after purchase. This is no good because it's a gift. I don't recall ever seeing one in a shop gift card display (but I've never been looking for one!)

Any ideas?

clpsmum · 06/11/2021 21:51

@vivicrocodile all the supermarkets sell them as well as curry's Argos and game xx

DD2 is 3 in April and I feel we can start incorporating more small items in our lives. While I can't guarantee she won't stick stuff in her mouth just for fun, I feel that the compulsion to do so has passed.

I got one in WHSmiths and also saw them in Sainsbury’s
Fuckingfuckssake · 06/11/2021 21:55

So I've just been asked for a karaoke machine??? I'm clueless, it's for a 9 year old, I'd appreciate any pointers, thank you.

NoWordForFluffy · 06/11/2021 22:01

@Fuckingfuckssake, we got this one last year and it's brilliant. It also plays normal CDs, so can be used for that as well. We bought a second hand TV for a tenner to plug it into, so DD doesn't have to use our only TV. I also got a second microphone for it.

Smileatthesmallthings · 06/11/2021 22:11

@Motherofplants my DS was gifted his cousin's marble run earlier this year, he will be 5 in Jan. We have the marbles in a separate tub and they're stored high up and he asks us for them when he's built the marble run. We had serious conversations before we let him use them and he counts them out and back in again. Whilst I'm pretty sure he won't put them in his mouth (he's been playing with Lego since he was 3 and we had similar conversations when that started) we do often have friends round with younger siblings so he knows the importance of making sure the little things aren't lying around. I think it depends on your kid and maybe restricting it to supervised play. We all really enjoy building a massive marble run together so it's not a hardship it being one of the things we have to participate in.

vivicrocodile · 06/11/2021 22:12

@Saintemllionsfinest @clpsmum

Thank you. I'll have to have a look :)

Smileatthesmallthings · 06/11/2021 22:13

Also, my DS calls them Marvels and builds marvel runs and no-one is to correct him ever coz it's so cute when he asks for a marvel Grin

Shrubbyelk · 06/11/2021 22:15

Hi, does anyone know how to get free delivery for House of Fraser for baskets under £50? Thanks.

MerylSqueak · 06/11/2021 22:27

@Billyandemily I got a Henry for my DH last year by opening a Very account and using the £30 off s £60 spend they often have. If there is a code about it usually comes up with a Google search

BeautifulTulips · 06/11/2021 22:46

If anyone has a white company code they could pm me I'd be so grateful!! Thanks

Haveyoubrushedyourteeth · 06/11/2021 22:47

In earlier threads I'm sure there was mention of 3D pens. If anyone is undecided (as I was) I've just got one from amazon that has a 50% off voucher which takes it down to about 16£...so at that price I'm willing to take a chance.

Thankyou I somehow forgot about black Friday. So will wait and see if there's any bargains then x

Eggmcmuffin · 06/11/2021 22:58

I just ordered the 3D pen so it's definitely still there! Thanks!

Haveyoubrushedyourteeth · 06/11/2021 23:03

I'll try that again without my details on it Blush 3D pen info take two....

@motherofplants I work in a preschool with 2-4 year olds and we use marbles in our set ups. Usually the slightly larger ones. So if your little one goes to nursery he might be encountering small items, so worth chatting about not putting things in mouths if you are worried about that.
