Thanks @Bezzi for the title. Poor old link being colicky 🤣

Does anyone know if Lush ever do any deals?

Also, I have used this local business loads - they do some gorgeous and beautifully-packaged jewellery. They have an offer on earrings at the moment - £5 off when you buy three pairs. And free delivery over £10. Code is on the site.

Mumsnetters I need your help with suggestions please! Mid 70s FIL was greatly amused by DS's slime a few weeks ago and I joked about getting him some of his own to play with. I can buy the same slime again and was planning on also getting a small pack of kinetic sand which I think he'd find fascinating (retired brickie). Is there anything else similar that might be fun to add? I found some mouldable foam on Amazon but the reviews weren't good so I'm not going for that. Thanks 😊

Thanks for the QVC hotel chocolat tip.
I bought this last year.
They were amazing!!

pandemic board game for just under £20 on Amazon. Might be a bit close to home, but we enjoy the game. It's a co-operative game so either all lose or win.

Semi not-very-helpful idea but some other Mumsnetters might remember the name but what about that putty that you can fix things with?
Araisaris · 06/11/2021 12:17

Is it Sugru?

MerylSqueak · 06/11/2021 12:29

Can anyone remember what price the Lavazza Jolie coffee machine fell to on Black Friday last year?
They've got it on at £49.99 at the moment. I am wondering if that is the best price.

SapereAude · 06/11/2021 12:35

If I remember correctly, the Jolie offer of offers was the coffee machine AND the milk frother for £69. I dithered. This year if it comes, I will not!

M&S- I received an email saying 15% off just for you. No code, no nothing. Clicked through, thinking as it must be email linked it would be applied at checkout, but nothing. Hmm

I'm optimistic for a 20%. If we all hold hands and wish we'll get one!

Ourlady · 06/11/2021 12:41

@Daisy829 have a look on County Golf. Great prices and they always have reductions. What about a new golf glove or Gilet now the weather is getting colder.

zeebee · 06/11/2021 12:48

lightswitch123 dry robes - they all have room to change under etc as far as I can tell. Perhaps some are thicker than others but all do the same job yet can be £50-80 cheaper than Dryrobe. Personally I like the ones with full length sleeves.

I’ve seen a lot of teens competing at elite sport level wearing non-Dryrobe branded ones so they must be ok and acceptable! My own teen v happy with the Zone3 and the tween with Charlie McLeod.

Not sure if that’s helped much? Some things are worth the extra, not sure changing robes are.

@Isabellabasil the Hot Diamonds is 303030 for 30% off and then Jewels for free postage.
I've just received my 2nd order and super pleased. The items are lovely and the packaging is very good quality lovely box bag and tissue.

sorryiasked · 06/11/2021 12:54

@weebarra sorry no code but I've always found the same stuff cheaper elsewhere compared to wicked uncle.

@Voiceofreason92

Someone mentioned that Ticket to Ride London was on offer on amazon. I’ve played the Europe one before. Does anyone know if this is as good as Europe?
It's got a different feel. Much shorter (17 buses rather than 45 trains) and taking more tickets feels like more of a gamble because you only take 2 and can easily not be able to complete either. However, because it's shorter, it's not so frustrating - it'll soon be over. For us, it's a quick filler game, and my 6 year old can play it independently.
Famousthehero · 06/11/2021 13:14

Bit random and not a bargain, but I just bought a barn owl pellet for my daughter to dissect from an owl sanctuary here
Thought it might be a fun stocking filler for a school aged child if anybody is looking for ideas (I haven’t received it yet, so can’t vouch for it).
