Has anyone seen any bargains for Dior Sauvage? Currently £68 for 100ml at Boots seems the best, but I haven't bought it before and not sure if that's a good price or not.

RicherThanYew · 23/10/2021 08:30

@lifelongfrugaleer I found it tricky to find but the 1kg of soap pieces is under skincare, it should be £19 for 500g and £39 for a kg.

These Paperchase codes have just popped up if they're any good for anyone.

Just to add for £9 we also have this engine and the batteries last forever[/quote]
Thanks @NamechangesagainThis is a great price. We have remote control Lidl ones like in the pic but if they don’t turn up in the next few weeks I’ll get one of those.

Thank you! 🤞🤞🤞🤞

@Wainwriter

Lots of Lego offers at the moment. Smyths toys are another shop with reduced sets. Might be worth a look if anyone is looking for a particular set.

I'm currently looking at the Lego Boost. Amazon seems the cheapest for it at the moment. Does anyone know if it's any good? I've read that they've now discontinued it so I'm wondering if there's a reason for this (and also if it's going to get any cheaper on Black Friday!)?

We bought it for dd a couple of years ago. It's a great concept and brilliant when it works, but the app is a bit temperamental and I seem to spend a lot of time trying to get it set up every time. It only works with certain specs of tablet so make sure you have the right kind before you buy.
WhyDoesItAlways · 23/10/2021 09:04

@lifelongfrugaleer the wonki bars are here www.gruum.com/product/wonki/

The Halloween bath bombs were a code on an email (screenshot hopefully attached) but code is SPOOKY21

Fantastic prices on keyboard pianos on Amazon.
Just bought DS's £33 reduced from £59.
Been watching them for ages!

yoshiblue · 23/10/2021 09:13

@ElephantandGrasshopper I looked at this but the reviews on Smyths are terrible. I work in Children's apps for a living and if it's been discontinued I'd also be concerned about them doing the right amount of support on the app to resolve issues. It's a complete headache tbh!

Depending on the age of the child would you consider a Microbit? We bought a starter kit from Kiltronik in lockdown and I'm looking at the simple robotics kit for Christmas.

kitronik.co.uk/collections/microbit-and-accessories

It wasn't that difficult to pick up and you'd be helping your kid learn proper coding rather than it being a toy.

0ttoline · 23/10/2021 09:14

Someone was looking for cheaper Maileg mice. These are not really similar! But they do look very cute and good for stockings of children who like little toys. I've ordered some little teddies (and am thinking I might sew them a sleeping bag and pillow if it'll fit in their matchbox).

Thanks

Click15 gives 15% off and free delivery at BAM, I know there are some bamboo sock lovers on here!!

Katinkak8 · 23/10/2021 09:31

@17caterpillars1mouse WH Smiths have some of the Usbourne book and jigsaw sets. They're £8.19, but with the 2 codes mentioned above, it brings them down to £5.89 delivered. Not quite £5, but still a good price I think.

MardyNun · 23/10/2021 09:33

I posted on the previous thread asking for recommendations for a gokart for an almost 9 year old. A poster replied with one she had got but after showing it to DS his expectation from Santa is one with a proper seat and steering wheel. I have trawled the internet but the only
Ones I can find that have decent reviews are for aged up to 8. If anyone has any ideas or recommendations please let me know!

IHeartKingThistle · 23/10/2021 09:42

Still trying to find Posca pens any cheaper - any ideas?

IfyoushouldmeetaCrocodile · 23/10/2021 09:47

@WisestIsShe I was tracking prices on Savauge last year and it never seemed to be discounted, then Debenhams did one of their fragrance offers and I managed to get it for £42!! Fairly sure it was around nowish so may be worth keeping an eye on their offers.

oatmilkisntsobad · 23/10/2021 09:50

@Someaddedsugar

£10 off at Adidas with code VLVP-6F93-NM3K-TKNPP

There are Posca Pens in WHSmith. 5M ones. The codes bring them down to about £11.
