Thanks @bizzey for the title, which tickled me! The day of the triffids? Nope, it’s the day of the cardboard boxes!

If you’re posting anything specifically for me please do @ me or I may not spot it. It’s helpful if when sharing bargain info you bold it to make it easy for people to differentiate between chat and bargain links.

Vodafone codes thread here

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me know if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

Thank you to the posters that mentioned the Prezzo three course meal for two and the WHSmith stackable codes, I've just had an expensive lunch break and have mainly bought presents for myself Xmas Blush......but have finished DF's Christmas presents by buying a Rick Stein cookbook.

Ewock · 18/10/2021 14:57

Just seen a pp mention festive fabric bags, does anyone have a link to these? Thanks

ThePoliceOfficer · 18/10/2021 14:57

I’m after a hobbycraft voucher too please. Or if anyone has insider knowledge on when/if the paint will be on sale.

Also after recommendations for an initial necklace I want to get myself with the kids initials. Doesn’t have to be a bargain (but won’t hurt!) I want something solid that will last

thaegumathteth · 18/10/2021 15:01

Thank you! Also works on iPhone!

thaegumathteth · 18/10/2021 15:05
I'm after ideas for little table gifts. Last year I bought these personalised love hearts. Great for only 99p a packet.

Here's the link if anyone is interested www.swizzels.com/shop/personalised/personalised-giant-love-hearts-place-name-settings
Above message was for @BonnesVacances.

thaegumathteth · 18/10/2021 15:08

Ugh god and thanks to @Ourlady ordered the love hearts

DoucheCanoe · 18/10/2021 15:14

@Ewock, I got from here on recommendation of another poster.

They were very reasonably priced, arrived quickly and look lovely - the proceeds go to charity too! Can't wait to use them :)

1122christy · 18/10/2021 15:24

Thanks for the WH Smith codes I wasn't originally thinking I would need it until someone mentioned getting pokemon elite cards from there. Didn't even realise they sold anything like that lol
So managed to get the £43 set for £28! And free delivery as over £20. This was on my list, so brill!
Got the codes to stack fine and checked out as a guest so no issues

Ourlady · 18/10/2021 15:31
@Ourlady thank you for the Swizzles link. Not doing Christmas crackers on the table this year so these will be ideal with a scratchcard in a festive fabric bag, with the reindeer place names on the table - both from previous thread!
@daisyboo1 you're welcome but what about The Hat?
You've got to have a hat or it's not Xmas dinner🤶

@Ewock
These were the ones I got. I think they were somewhat cheaper so may be worth watching for a while.

daisyboo1 · 18/10/2021 15:37

@Ourlady ahhhhh. May well be a flaw in my plan there!

thaegumathteth · 18/10/2021 15:42

REV20 gives 20% off at revolution beauty.

1122christy · 18/10/2021 15:44

I have two codes if any ones needs. They are one off though so pm if you want 20% off vans and a 15% disney store.

Puffalicious · 18/10/2021 15:50

Whereisthisgoing 3rd nomination for bamboo socks. That's all I now buy for me, DH and my teen boys. BAM are excellent, however, TK Maxx always have some in store, always, and are much more bargainous. They are so bargainous I buy plain black for school socks. I got a fabulous striped/ spotty/ geometric set for DS2 the other week too.

Middleagedfrog · 18/10/2021 15:56

@WhereIsThisGoing
Swole Panda socks are lovely and soft and they seem to wear well. Not particularly cheap though, about £10 a pair.

UrbanMage · 18/10/2021 16:00

@WhereIsThisGoing I’ve bought some from the Sock Shop in the past. They are the only socks my DD will wear as she is a fuss pot.

UrbanMage · 18/10/2021 16:01

Also @WhereIsThisGoing there seems to be sale on. Sock shop

I have the bright trainer socks and they are fab!

Puffalicious · 18/10/2021 16:05

@Ewock

Just seen a pp mention festive fabric bags, does anyone have a link to these? Thanks
I'm thinking of making my own- simple rectangles sewn together on 3 sides then closed with lovely ribbon.

Anyone got a good tip or link for bargainous Xmas fabric? Just light cotton would do.

OneMorePieceofCheese · 18/10/2021 16:07

I have a 20% off Lakeland £50 spend or a 5% off a £30 spend which I'm not going to use.

DM me if you can use it!

herecomesthsun · 18/10/2021 16:09

I have got a couple more fabric sacks from Home Bargains, www.bmstores.co.uk/products/alphabet-sack-with-gold-embroidery-assorted-374106 £7 (but not very original, there's a thread about them)

TidyOmlette · 18/10/2021 16:09

I can’t get the code to work for buyagift 😩 have I missed the deal?

MarshmallowsOnToast · 18/10/2021 16:18

@Whydidimarryhim

Marshmallows- I’ve just bought it for £5 - look again
I still can't get the play dough cash till for £5.

Anyone got a direct link please? 🙁

handmademitlove · 18/10/2021 16:26

I am looking for a light / projector that will show an accurate depiction of the night sky (for a young teen, rather than a nightlight for younger children) if anyone can suggest anything? The ones I have found don't seem to be "real" constellations!

Or alternatively a glow in the dark large poster to stick to the ceiling!

Ewock · 18/10/2021 16:38
@Ewock, I got from here on recommendation of another poster.

That's fab thank you so much. Now I just need to work out which size will fit the lovehearts!

layby · 18/10/2021 16:40

@handmademitlove That sound very nice idea. I would get one of them too!
