If you’re posting anything specifically for me please do @ me or I may not spot it. It’s helpful if when sharing bargain info you bold it to make it easy for people to differentiate between chat and bargain links.

Thank you so much for the huge cuddy toy info! Lots to look at. I hadn't considered how to wash the thing - arg! I'll be hoping it's loved... but not too much.

Does anyone remember what the name of the razor subscription company was called that everyone was getting for partners a couple of years ago? Or recommend one that their DH uses? Thanks!

Haveyoubrushedyourteeth · 15/10/2021 15:18

@pinkdaydreams I can't link from my phone sorry, but look at direct.asda.com/George then select wooden toys in the filters and you should see them there.

I remember getting a Cornerstone one. The recipients liked them very much.
Tinysnickers · 15/10/2021 15:25

Was there a deal with Gruum razors? Or was that something else?

My dc are only young so their list is to Santa. I've always said that they are just giving Santa ideas though so they write a long list of things knowing that they won't get them all and they may get some cheaper alternatives. I chat with them about it before it gets posted and discuss which things they're really hoping to get. I use our chats to make my own lists of particular items and and general things (such as a bed for baby doll) that I can find cheaper versions of.
Family have been horrified by the length of the lists thinking that they actually expect to get everything on it!

Ruralretreating · 15/10/2021 15:31

Real life shopping in Sainsbury’s today they had some men’s shorts/t-shirt PJs with gaming brands on (PlayStation, Sega Mega Drive etc) at half price so £8.50 instead of £17 which look perfect for DH. M&S also had some children’s summer clothes on sale but in a sale section, not the children’s section. Picked up a couple of t-shirts for DS1(9) for £2.50 each.

Silversilverstreet · 15/10/2021 15:56

I posted before about the Boots No 7 items which were on sale for £5 each. They are now only £4.25.

The assistant I spoke to said they were the same products as the new ones, it was just the packaging which had changed.

I have hopes that the Lash Serum, reduced from £16.50, will make my disappearing eyelashes and brows grow back. The reviews seem reasonable, and £4.25 is much cheaper than similar products I’ve seen elsewhere.

In case anyone is hoping for the bargain Boots Advent Calendar that I was: in the T&Cs on another page it says that they are excluded from the “Spend £60 get £10 worth of points” offer.

Any recommendations on Our Generation dolls? I have a 4 year old with a birthday just before Christmas and was considering a doll for the birthday then one of the larger sets to go with it for Christmas. She loves imaginary play with her younger sister, but they normally prefer using random household items to play with!

I saw one for £20 at Tk Maxx today but wasn't sure what's normal. There was also a bath set and food truck.

cheeseandwine2019 · 15/10/2021 16:23

Hi! Has anyone seen any free postage codes for Pound Toy? On the lookout!!! Thanks 😊

CoffeeChocolateWine · 15/10/2021 16:26

@Wtfdidwedo, my DDs love Our Generation dolls and they still get played with loads. My oldest DD is 9 so many years of play potential left and my youngest is 3. We’ve usually paid about £30 for the dolls, so £20 sounds like a great price to me.

XiCi · 15/10/2021 16:32
@XiCi re the ASOS offer, did you just sign up to the premier. I had received this offer by email and got all excited but when I looked the 25% off only seemed to apply to people who took out a premier and not thos who already had them.
@Autumnleaves4 no I already had Premier. I just used the code that was on the App and it took the 25% off. Hopefully they'll do something similar again soon for you

shreddednips · 15/10/2021 16:33

Just had an email saying Lovato candles is doing 50% off again starting at some point today, I think it's only for 24 hours. They're really nice, got loads as presents last year.

The magnets have arrived. They're tiny Grin

If anyone hasn't ordered yet I'd recommend doing a full sheet per recipient as I did individual ones and they look a bit crap on their own! Probably get lost in the stockings, not complaining for 75p each but still

Feelingpoorlysick · 15/10/2021 16:34

Has anyone tried the home bargains oodies?

CatOfTheLand · 15/10/2021 16:35

Please help! Does anyone know where I can get Schleich-size toy horses but with real hair? We got a vintage one for about 10p at a charity shop and now she wants more. I tracked down what the actual item was but they're rare and expensive! Also, this is a foal so most are too big for her farm play set.

Last one from me… these Sylvanian babies party blind bags are really sweet.

They have the Sylvanian families baby band blind bags in Poundland at the moment too, for £2.
