Anyone buying experience gifts on buyagift, I can highly recommend their customer service, they’ve extended my voucher bought pre Covid twice now.

@RevolvingPivot I only buy if it's on my list, and if I have someone definite to give it to before I order. I'm finding this year that shops aren't as generous with their discounts so a lot of the toys that my kids have put on their wishlists aren't reduced, so this year seems to be, for me, finding the item in stock rather than finding a good reduction on it, the discounts are few and far between! I did get some bits in the Asda toy sale and again in The Entertainers discount event which I found out about through here.

Some do, I think that's evidenced by the Fiorelli bags. I must be the only person who doesn't like Fiorelli Nan bags so I didn't entertain it.

I buy things if there's someone to give it to and it's in budget. Otherwise I don't bother unless it's something I want for myself. Every year some people get carried away on these threads but there are some true bargains to be had if you stick around.

If anyone ordered the Fiorelli Cove bag in teal and is thinking of returning it, I'd like it please. It's perfect for DD but even though it was showing in stock, it wouldn't let me add it to my basket saying it was unavailable. Thanks.

@RevolvingPivot I've just had a look at my list and there's been a few bargains. The Hype stuff was a definite bargain with hoodies at £7.50 etc. That's cheaper than Primark for a good quality hoodie. Backpacks same price.

The stag Etsy place names for a pound. Bargain and lovely gifts.

Mega monopoly for £11 seems good.

The photo magnets are nice. 75p each and I've got them for friends that have pets with a photo of their pet on

The boots deal someone shared a while back. That was good for teacher presents and I treated myself too!

@RevolvingPivot I do a combination of looking out for bargains on the specific things on my list, and using these threads for inspiration for people for whom I don’t know what to get.

Cable and Cotton do some lovely lights and on Fridays they choose a set to take 25% off. It comes through to my email so you may have to sign up for their mails.

I tend to ignore discounts posted because they aren't on my list, then 4 days later my kids ask for one and I have to spend hours trawling back to find a code/link and it's run out midnight the day before.
