Has anyone ordered from Shein recently? They have some really cheap kids bits but not sure how long delivery normally takes.

toffeeshock · 14/10/2021 22:18

I’m really happy with my F bag so thanks to whoever posted about them; I’m sure the recipient will love it.

buckeejit · 14/10/2021 22:20

Velvetiser fans. The only hot choc I've found at least as good as hotel chocolat is charbonnel & Walker. It used to be £8 a tin (cheaper than hotel choc), but is now £12. However it's at Lakeland for £6 hot chocolate

I placed an order with them on Tuesday. I had the email today saying it’s been dispatched with an estimated delivery date of 25th October.

Hope that helps!

squishmycherry · 14/10/2021 22:21

I've ordered from shein twice recently with quick delivery both times. :)

22Giraffes · 14/10/2021 22:38

@nickdrakeslovechild I ordered from Shein at the beginning of the month, delivery estimate was 2 weeks but it turned up after 7 days! Smile

@dementedma that's such a lovely thought. When my mum died when I was young, her best friend gave me a book - it was one they'd both read and loved and discussed and they even took a trip together to the city where the story was set (I knew they'd gone there, but didn't know why). I absolutely cherished the opportunity to share in something that was special to my mum - I felt that by her dying I had been denied any future moments of sharing with her i suppose, and her best friend offered me that and money can't buy that sort of gift.

I think what I'm saying is, find something personal to you and her. Something you shared with your friend. And let her daughter know why it's special to you. I promise you, she will be thinking of her mum this Christmas and it will only bring comfort to know there are others thinking about her too.

When I say young, I wasn't a child. I was a young adult.

Thank you, I am worried now as I placed a big order on 27th September and it's been in transit since 1st October with a delivery date expected of 9th to 11th October. It's not here and not having much luck getting hold of them. Never ordered from them before.

oatmilkisntsobad · 14/10/2021 22:52

@bizzey

Justyou No link ..but these are what we are talking about .
Couldn't resist and had to buy these! I'm sure MIL will like them
TuftyMarmoset · 14/10/2021 22:56

Re the Spode Christmas tree, they usually have good bargains on it at ecookshop, also the portmeirion (?) holly & ivy and kitchen stuff more generally.

ChiaraMontague · 14/10/2021 23:03

That’s a great price on the Contigo Westloop mugs - they are absolutely brilliant!

Annie1290 · 14/10/2021 23:54

I've been watching out for the Contigo mugs as they're recommended every year and this year DH actually needs one but I refuse to pay £5 for postage and I'm miiiiiiles from a Robert Dyas. I know that's stupid because even with the postage they are way more on Amazon but I just can't bring myself to pay that for postage on principle!!

ImNotReallyHere · 15/10/2021 00:08

@JeremiahObadiahJackanoryJonez

Contigo Westloop travel cups £7 at Robert Dyas. I’ve been looking for them and this seems like a good price. Plus cash back on TCB
Thanks so much for this. Was on my list for DS and given the bargainous price I bought myself one too,

Also ordered a free shampoo bar for DD that was mentioned upthread, so thank you to whoever posted that.

I'm desperately looking for a matalan code. Does anyone have one? I have a Lakeland £5 off spend over £30 by 31st Oct if anyone needs one

DownPuddleLane · 15/10/2021 00:22

Northern Lights Lava Lamp £13 in clearance section at Argos. Looks pretty.

DownPuddleLane · 15/10/2021 00:23

Oh it's £11 not £13

IDontDrinkTea · 15/10/2021 02:35

@nickdrakeslovechild I find shein really hit or miss with delivery times. It depends which warehouse it’s coming from, sometimes it’s coming from the Uk and then it’s speedy, other times they’re coming from abroad and especially at the moment, seems to get stuck in a port somewhere and then take ages. If you track via your emails you can usually see where they started out from to give you a clue if you’ve got a reasonable wait time because it’s coming from Germany or something?

Can anyone recommend a good place for personalised boards/ cheese boards? There is a website that I’ve looked on from here in the past and I can’t for the life of me remember the name!

You can collect Robert Dyas orders from Rymans too if you have one nearby?
Autumnleaves4 · 15/10/2021 07:24

@Puffalicious

My Nike stuff arrived- lovely colours and great quality. Teens will be pleased. Thanks for the 20% off sale prices headsup.
Please can you tell me what the offer was, I missed a large part of the last thread and my son is desperate for some Nike things. Have followed all 11 threads can’t believe I missed this.
Autumnleaves4 · 15/10/2021 07:29

@XiCi re the ASOS offer, did you just sign up to the premier. I had received this offer by email and got all excited but when I looked the 25% off only seemed to apply to people who took out a premier and not thos who already had them.
