Thanks for the last thread @MissCherryCakeyBun and thread title @OneMorePieceOfCheese and @room4onemore

I've got the rubbish sparks offer for the organising app thing too.
Bank attack looks quite fun, my kids have really enjoyed outfoxed which is collaborative too so I think they'd like it.
I will keep an eye out for price drops.

Tinysnickers · 04/10/2021 11:17

On a different note, has anyone been to a 'Joules Big Sale'? And is it worth it in terms of stock / prices?
There's one soon about as near to me as they ever get, but it's still 45 mins drive plus you have to book a £5 ticket so don't want to go if they aren't great.
I went to a boden one years ago and bought nothing as was mostly tiny sizes, and I'm not tiny Grin

Popped into my local M&S and they have all the Christmas decorations and candles out. I treated myself to some Christmas scented tea lights and got some Christmas Percy pigs.
They had light up tea houses but no shortbread ones, there was space for them but they had filled with the large tins of shortbread. Hopefully more stock is coming as I’d like another one.

LetsPlayBamboozled · 04/10/2021 11:46

My local Home Bargains (S.E. London) had the Cadbury's build a Chcocolate Christmas house in today for £11.99.

Has anyone else had their Amazon orders cancelled for the cheap perfumes a lot of us ordered over the weekend? I managed to get a Ted Baker man and women for £4.57 each and just received emails that they've both been cancelled Sad

XiCi · 04/10/2021 11:51

God sorry, just seen the other cancellation posts.
I've had this happen a few times recently on Amazon too good to be true buys

Windows01 · 04/10/2021 11:54

Orders cancelled here too.

deeplybaffled · 04/10/2021 11:55

I’ve just bought a metal detector for me and DH. This thread is dangerousGrin

TheGriffle · 04/10/2021 11:56

Yep the 3 river island perfumes and the facemasks have all been cancelled. That was half my nieces Christmas present.

CalicoCotton · 04/10/2021 11:59

My perfume/aftershave orders also cancelled by Amazon. 🙁

I contemplated the Exeter one as there that weekend but worry it would be just the dregs left by the Saturday.
XiCi · 04/10/2021 12:10

Still trying to get the elusive light up biscuit tins in M&S, today
If anyone wanting these is on Ocado they are available to buy there with your normal shop

clpsmum · 04/10/2021 12:11

@Devoilmum thank you so much xx

DumplingsAndStew · 04/10/2021 12:15

Face mask set cancelled here too 🙄

Daisy829 · 04/10/2021 12:26

Colin calendar success today. Also these Colin pencil cases are £5 and are filled with biscuits so I got those too
M&S Altrincham has the shortbread light up houses if that’s any use to anyone.

10% off LOL dolls/stuff at The Entertainer with code EMAILLOL-MXZX-THHE-2ABK-HDKK
might be single use, but hopefully will help someone. my DD is no longer interested in LOLs (thankfully)

Thisisbatshit · 04/10/2021 12:32

Sorry to be a pest. Many threads ago people were buying portable fire pit sets. I've suddenly realised it would be a great gift for someone. I have found some on amazon. Can anyone remember what price they were. Cheapest just now is £12.99 which is fine, but I had thought they were around £10. Also has anyone tried theirs yet? Were they any good? I'm worried it will be hard and dirty to pack back up once it has been used.

Thanks!

toffeeshock · 04/10/2021 12:46

My DS would love bank attack but 6 out of 7 of the most recent reviews (end of July to now) say it stopped working very quickly. Has anyone had it and played it lots and it’s been fine? I’m tempted again but DS would be upset if it stopped working quickly, as has happened to some remote controlled toys.

hotchocdrinker · 04/10/2021 12:49

Lots of light up biscuit tins at M&S food in martlesham this morning.

escapeyou · 04/10/2021 12:53

Do Dunelm do codes? Anyone got one they could give me please?

clpsmum · 04/10/2021 12:56

Nice little set for £10 with free bag

Light up tea houses and a light up gingerbread house (I think?) in Chester Marks this morning but no shortbread, just an empty shelf. They had all the light up alcohol and also a light up box of chocolates. To paraphrase my mum it'd be like Blackpool illuminations in the kitchen will all those!

CheshireChat · 04/10/2021 13:23

Dynamix bionic powet is half price at tesco with a club clubcard (from £30 to £15).

Same for the big pug plushies Grin.

I got a fire pit from Aldi - £23 I think? There were out of stock online last time I looked but a local store may have some - I saw one in mine on Friday.

Vebrithien · 04/10/2021 13:34

Had a little trip to some real shops today. B&M were very disappointing, several aisles empty waiting for Christmas stock to be put out. No Christmas PJ's at all Xmas Sad

Matalan, ditto, lots of empty aisles.

Home Bargains was much better though! All of their wrapping paper was £1 a roll, including the Kraft paper and the extra wide paper (1m X 6m). They also had a cute Christmas "colour my placement" booklet (£1, looooots of pages). Also, sets of boozy marmalade, little nutcracker or train tins (with chocolate inside, to go on the tree) and (not Christmassy) 2 packs of 12 Pepsi cans for £7, all different versions.
