Thanks for the last thread @MissCherryCakeyBun and thread title @OneMorePieceOfCheese and @room4onemore

My pasta evangelist freebies arrived today, not sure I would have paid for them but great free gifts so thanks for whoever posted about that. I've eaten one of my pasta dishes so far which was the lamb ragu, it was ok but I personally didn't think it was worth the price and also it had mint in which I found a bit odd in a pasta dish. Still got another dish to eat yet which is the carbonara so hoping for good things as its my favourite.

Also looking for a specific item only sold at Wiggle or Chain Reaction Cycles if anyone knows of any discounts I can get for either of those places? I've got 10% off as a new customer at Chain Reactions but wondered if there was anything better?

Karlkennedyslovechild · 06/10/2021 09:30

Wiggle had a 10 or 20% off promo recently. I’m sure they’ll do another one soon.

Minionbums · 06/10/2021 09:49

@Ck91 I’ve just ordered the calendar too, for a hard to buy for FIL. Thank you xx

Jedstre Tom's Deals sent me this Amazon gift finder yesterday which might help. There looked to be some good deals on there when I received it last night but as you say the prices change quickly

With build a bear if you say it's your child's birthday this month you can get £10 off a £30 spend plus free delivery. You'll need to join the birthday club then they will email you about 24 hours later with the codes.

My boys (11 & 9) are finally getting a gaming console this week, after years of pestering! Can anyone recommend gaming chairs and headphones please as I am completely clueless!

MrsPToBe123 · 06/10/2021 10:44

At www.verbaudet.co.uk apply the code 8081 at checkout and get 20% off for new customers plus free delivery. They have a lot of kids clothes but I've just used for some nursery accessories, so would recommend if you want to bulk out presents with bedding etc.

Can I also be cheeky and ask if anyone has a matalan code? I need to buy a highchair and money is tight atm!

Emiliemoo · 06/10/2021 10:53

@ck9 Ordered the calendar as well Great deal thank you
I downloaded the app and there was an app only discount of 40% plus 50 free prints (I guess you might pay for postage??) If anyone has other photo gifts to buy

New Vodafone reward today is £3 free Boots points. Doesn't look like you need a code or anything.

@Iggi999
Does he follow a certain team? You could get him match tickets with hospitality ?

My Lottie london order arrived - loads of make up so worth the £ but I thought it would come in a box suitable for gifts and it’s just lots of items in a cardboard box.
So I’m off to find a make up box ..

@BadgerFace

Hatchimals advent calendar is down to £18.64 on Amazon this morning - it has been £24.99 the last few weeks so a good saving.

Sadly the snaffling pig advent calendar I want for myself was up from £17.50 to £20 so I am hoping for that to come back down again!

I saw the snarling pig advent calendar for £15, but tried to block out the memory as I'd already paid £17.50 plus postage thinking I'd got a nice deal. Think it was not on the high street, but with their 25% discount? Not sure what the code is for that but maybe someone else can help.
Starrycolors23 · 06/10/2021 11:06

@IDontDrinkTea I received my set the other day. It has flour, salt, rolling pin, then the metal implements you use to cut pasta and a cook book. I think it’s pretty good - especially the book! The pasta was bloody delicious so worth it to me!

spudjulia · 06/10/2021 11:07

I should add - I saw the deal on this thread.

UseForYou · 06/10/2021 11:14

@psuedocream3 thanks for the heads up on the boots points- I always forget to check my vodaphone rewards Smile

Dreamingofwalden · 06/10/2021 11:20

20% off everyone at GLTC this week when you spend 60+. Quite expensive generally but the toys are lovely and great quality.
Lots of lovely wooden toys. I was going to buy the post office set for my youngest twin but he is in demolition mode so he is having something cheaper and less breakable. www.gltc.co.uk/

Starrycolors23 · 06/10/2021 11:29

@MardyNun yes we have these machines! We have two in the garden bar. We also bought a third which we need to sell as it can’t fit and we aren’t hosting any time soon.

So we always use Beer Hawk - when you buy the kegs they can be returned free and you get £5 credit for it so it adds up! They do get the machine bundles in stock so keep an eye out there, there’s not many discount codes though. I think we paid £280.

It’s worth it - perfect draft beer every time and super easy to set up.

FireworkParrot · 06/10/2021 11:58

Just seen a friend post this link on Facebook so I'm sorry if it's not generic but may be worth a try:

"Anyone looking for a rain coat this code gives you 30% off until the end of today at sea salt I’ve just ordered the Janelle and it brought the price down from £160 to £112. Thank me later when you are warm and dry.

Hey thanks so much for the suggestions for dh's 50th, I am going to sit down and go through them properly after work Flowers

MydeamonsanOstrich · 06/10/2021 12:37

@Iggi999 how about an echo show or a ring doorbell? These are both 'techy' items my other half has enjoyed playing with!
