Thanks for the great ideas on stranger things hoodie @xmasdealhunter and @IggyAce, appreciate it. And that'll be why I couldn't find the hoodie at Primark, was looking in the wrong section!

katemuff · 04/10/2021 20:37

The Works candles at TK max are excellent and £12.99 each :)

silky86 · 04/10/2021 20:38

For those of you interested in the naked marshmallow kits. Last year I bought tins of chafing fuel from Amazon (just over a £1/tin if you buy 12), then skewers, chocolate biscuits, marshmallow etc (Asda sell vegan marshmallows too) and put kits together for my kids friends and they really liked them. We even had zoom s'mores nights over lockdown!

SewVeryLazy · 04/10/2021 20:42

@foxgoosefinch

It didn't come up in my search but it says it is available and let me add it to my basket

Araisaris · 04/10/2021 20:43

@silky86 that sounds like a great idea. Can you link to the chafing fuel tins as a lot of those on Amazon say they’re not for s’mores. Thanks

silky86 · 04/10/2021 20:52

Link to the chafing fuel there are loads of different ones

torthecatlady · 04/10/2021 20:52

Has anyone seen any deals for the Horrible History books?

Araisaris · 04/10/2021 20:54

Thanks @silky86 😊

WorriedMillie · 04/10/2021 20:55

Re milk frothers, we have the Asda one. I was a little hesitant, as there are a few bad reviews on the site, but we’ve had it for a good few months now, it’s used daily and it’s been great. It’s OOS at the moment, as it was when we bought ours, but it in stock, in our local store

Sideorderofchips · 04/10/2021 21:06

Anyone else really miss the book people?

isubscribe are offering 3 issues of Delicious magazine for £6 (which includes two Christmas issues) if you subscribe before October 10th - details here - you'd just need to remember to cancel afterwards if you didn't want the direct debit to continue.

I went to order my Halloween t shirt @RJnomore1 and found that Next had sold out of everything in size 14 and above within hours Shock I've ordered a 12 which frankly is optimistic but they have said that more stock should be available soon. The moral of the story is, I should be less conscientious at work and have regular breaks to order my bargains Grin

Laura17111 · 04/10/2021 21:16

I am loving all the bargains this year and getting some great ideas thank you so much to everyone posting Smile

My little boy will be 3 and a half at Christmas, I have bought some great bargains through here but the only thing he wants is a car wash toy, he is obsessed with car washes in general but I am struggling for an idea on this one. Has anyones kids had any good car wash toys? Random I know haha. Thanks Smile

@Laura17111 my friend used to have an amazing Lego car wash back in the heyday! Is he into brio? This is small but says compatible... https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B08F5B5FX1/ref=cmswwemrrmtdppSFE70089XG8JMR6R07ZH?encoding=UTF8&psc=1 or are you looking for something that uses actual water?

Startaler · 04/10/2021 21:20

Nintendo Switch OLED showing stock in Argos. Not a bargain price but if anybody is looking for stock...

dawnky1983 · 04/10/2021 21:20

@deeplybaffled

Have you looked at a Pinter? DH had one for Christmas last year and it’s been well loved and used.
Seconded! DH saw the ad on Facebook and decided to give it a try-we now have 5 Pinters, 4 docks and had to buy an extra fridge for the garage! Absolutely loves it Grin
RJnomore1 · 04/10/2021 21:25

A lego car wash sounds amazing

Aww that would be perfect, he has some brio but I had no idea you could get a car wash. Thank you so much

Notlongnow1 · 04/10/2021 21:29

Somewhat topical bargain given current fuel issues...

Lego friends electric car set down to £7.50 with voucher, from £12.99 on Amazon

happytobemrsg · 04/10/2021 21:34

@LetsPlayBamboozled

My local Home Bargains (S.E. London) had the Cadbury's build a Chcocolate Christmas house in today for £11.99.
I’ve never seen that before! Would make such a great gift!
TummyTurtle · 04/10/2021 21:39

@butterflymum amazing, why did I not think to look for a genealogy thread on Mumsnet!!

@user1493494961 that does sound like a good deal!

@BeGoneDom ah thanks, that's really kind!
