What are your 8/9 yo girls asking for?

Dd is 8 she was really into lols and dolls but has outgrown them now. When I ask what toys she would like she doesn’t know.
She loves fidgit toys and poppets.
I’m looking for some inspiration

Omg a bat detection kit is such a good idea, we have some that fly around in the summer over our garden! (Well presumably they’re there in the winter, too 😂 🦇)

I bought my 4yo a mini gum ball machine from flying tiger yesterday, it was £5 or £6 and is actually quite good. I bought a bigger more expensive one a couple of years ago and it was rubbish, all the sweets just kept pouring out of it.

My dd is 9, her favourite games are, Catventures, payday, dobble, exploding kittens, the dog game, no more llamas. Ive got her a classic game compendium for Christmas, might buy a few more as she loves a game!

Oh we also play the logo game, scrabble, cluedo and monopoly when we go to grandparents. Sometimes she's on a team or we play individually.

My 8 year old doesn’t really play with toys anymore and she is a nightmare to buy for!

So far she has Blockus, a cuddle cushion from tkmaxx, fidgets toys from Ali express, crafty stuff like air dry clay and diamond painting kit.

Things Im thinking of getting her: second hand Xbox (she loves playing minecraft and roblox) bean bag, an Alexa, Uno.

Hive and Tatsu are dd1's favourites (she's 10, but they have been favourites for more than a year).

Dd2 is 8, coming up to 9 at Christmas. Her favourites are Labyrinth and Takenoko.
