@AnotherOne4, thank you for introducing us to something that sounded so wrong in the thread title. Also loved the review you shared:
‘ Not only is it decorative, but also quite heavy. If you had intruders you could take them down with this also. Multipurpose’

If you’re posting anything specifically for me please do @ me or I may not spot it. It’s helpful if when sharing bargain info you bold it to make it easy for people to differentiate between chat and bargain links.

@spamiam The Range is my default for things this. They have lots of 'craft kit'type stuff around £5 and usually includes paint your own unicorn moneybox /jewellery box/other decor or trinkety stuff. They usually go down well.
I have also bought the hobbycraft paint your own suncatcher things, and unicorn hama bead kits in the past.

Does anyone know the best discount on a Micro Scooter Sprite with LED wheels (purple one)? I know there was a hamleys code awhile ago but I can't find it now . It's £119.99 on the micro scooter website but would love to get it cheaper if possible!

Pengweng · 27/09/2021 18:41

@CamdenLurker i tried for ages before realising that you need to add the wristwarmers to your basket first and then they become free in checkout.

It has to be this pair though or it won't work.

@Laney79

Anyone know if there's such a thing as a basic dressing up box available anywhere?

My toddler (2 on New Year's Eve) is obsessed with putting things on his head as hats, so I thought I'd get him a dressing up box -I thought you could get a basic one with things like, dr, policeman, builder, cowboy etc in them but I can't find one! In fact getting "basic" dressing up outfits seems harder than I thought-everything is marvel/mandalorian/specific book or tv characters!

Not sure whereabouts you are but we have chain 'the factory shop' round us and they are great for cheap fancy dress bits like hats etc. For sets Melissa and Doug good but not cheap.
BunnyBerries · 27/09/2021 19:19

Attention gardeners - Spear & Jackson stainless steel digging fork £12 - average price usually £30 according to camelcamelcamel (Amazon)!

JanuaryEl5ieBill · 27/09/2021 19:26

@Laney79 I'm thinking of getting a dressing up box for my two but can't find the right box! I have generic Smiffys policeman and fireman (from amazon, they were a tenner I think around prime day) and I picked up two generic superhero capes and masks from tesco, should have been £5 but less this weekend in their 25% off clothing event. We already have a doctors outfit, fairy, cat and explorer that have been halloween or come with toys.

oatmilkisntsobad · 27/09/2021 19:27

@WreckTangled

Sorry if this has been mentioned already. Groupon have the adidas gift card £50 for £35 back and you can use a discount code with it too. I used my nhs one and got £78 worth of things for £35.
Do you have a link for this please? I can't find it on my groupon app
Laney79 · 27/09/2021 19:29
I agree with windows1 re the digital photo frame; I’d only get one if she’s mentioned that she’d like one as we were given one but have never used it. I prefer to print photos out too - the children love looking through the albums and we never look at the digital copies (that I do keep).

Re dressing up stuff, Melissa and Doug used to do two boxes filled with different hats. We had both and they were great. I got them cheap from a discount store that I discovered on here (I forget the name) but they’ve since closed down their website which is a shame as they were great. Here’s one I’ve found on eBay after a quick search www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Melissa-doug-role-play-hats-/184956849849?var=0&mkevt=1&mkcid=1&mkrid=710-53481-19255-0&campid=5338268676&toolid=10044&customid=Cj0KCQjw18WKBhCUARIsAFiW7JxOk0qPBd7Gfw4BvLuF4kyxpe9LZe2NVfNloPYTj2989dXQpsH_Ps4aAoIUEALw_wcB
@gratedbeetroot ah that hat set would be perfect! Sadly sold out when I clicked the eBay link and I can't find it anywhere else. Gutted!

MydeamonsanOstrich · 27/09/2021 19:34

@Changingagain hadn't even thought of an echo show as an option, will look into that, thank you. @thaegumathteth frameo looks good too and certainly ticks all the boxes but @Window1 has a good point. Be a shame if it never got used so I think I need to subtly ask some questions to gauge if she'd be interested/ use one.

MydeamonsanOstrich · 27/09/2021 19:41

@Laney79 quite a lot of sets here
www.hope-education.co.uk/products/early-years/role-play/dressing-up

I've never used them so can't vouch for them.

QuiltedBear · 27/09/2021 19:46

Allegedly, the Oodie Black Friday sale is starting now. This popped up as an advert on Facebook for me, but I’m baffled. Isn’t Black Friday a month and a bit away still?

clpsmum · 27/09/2021 19:51

@QuiltedBear mine too popped up saying two for one

NightOwl19 · 27/09/2021 19:51
@SpamIAm if you're near a Claire's they have their 3 for £5 sale on and ours had plenty of unicorn bits in
Do you know how long this is on for? Can't get to the actual shops until Wednesday and can't find the deal online

gratedbeetroot · 27/09/2021 20:05

What a shame Laney79. Fingers crossed they get more in.

MissCherryCakeyBun · 27/09/2021 20:14

@Pengweng I still can't get it to work...I must be totally dense Blush

itsonlysubterfuge · 27/09/2021 20:34

@QuiltedBear Black Friday is the day after American Thanksgiving, which is the last Thursday in November.

NaturalBlondeYeahRight · 27/09/2021 20:36

Thank for the moonpig code - it even worked on a personalised card for nephew. Also someone up thread found the tapo smart plug - I use those and find them very easy to use. Love turning all my Xmas lights off by using Alexa rather than crawling under tree every night!

mumtothree2020 · 27/09/2021 20:45

Does anyone know where I could get a customised plush from?
DD wants a character from animal crossing but can't seem to find it online anywhere so might have to get someone to make one.

Thisisbatshit · 27/09/2021 20:59

It was on the last page, so I can't remember who asked. If your children are happy to listen to the same music you can get the cheapo music to stream on more than one alexa at a time by going into the alexa and creating groups. We have a couple for example the everywhere group and when you say "alexa play the top 100 tunes on the everywhere group" it plays on all devices in that group at the same time.

Also you can just play a radio station without a subscription. Our children quite like our local station and it plays good music so you can play that on any device with no music subscription.
