@AnotherOne4, thank you for introducing us to something that sounded so wrong in the thread title. Also loved the review you shared:
‘ Not only is it decorative, but also quite heavy. If you had intruders you could take them down with this also. Multipurpose’

If you’re posting anything specifically for me please do @ me or I may not spot it. It’s helpful if when sharing bargain info you bold it to make it easy for people to differentiate between chat and bargain links.

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me know if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

Managed to get the galaxy hot choc station today in home bargains. Glad I went as only 2 on the shelf. Also popped into the works where they had these calendar & diary sets for £3. Lots of different types not just horse ones. Good to bulk out the pressie pile

Has anyone bought their kids a slush puppie machine?

Just wondering if they are any good or a waste of money.

LikeSilver · 25/09/2021 16:26

Thank you so much @Ricekrispie22, I’ve seen that book in Asda before and thought how beautiful it was but it was £30 so that’s a great price.

girlsyearapart · 25/09/2021 16:42

Lots of good stocking filler/party presents reduced in Tiger today

Cherryrainbow · 25/09/2021 16:49

There's a free benefit mascara with the double magazine pack of bazaar and elle. £6.99 - I'm putting mine aside for my sister x

Not cheap but got my mum this last year and filled it with her two favourites. It was the biggest hit of Christmas!

QOD · 25/09/2021 17:03

So annoyed with Holland and Barrett. Ordered 3 beauty boxes back on 2/9 and it’s sat ‘waiting for despatch’ ever since despite repeated emails and calls. Finally spoke to someone with half a brain today and they cancelled my order as oos and refunded me £16
I’d paid £36 🙄 so now waiting for £20 and have to start again with dd stocking.

I just came on to ask the same thing. X2 bikes @ 300 each to buy 😭
onedayatatime73 · 25/09/2021 17:15

IWOOT has 3 Harry Potter gifts for £16 this week is "Harry Potter week".

And just been in to Robert Dyas and they had an aisle of half price - mainly cookware including le Cruset but also basic cookware and toolkits (screwdrivers sets and drills etc). On the website there is 1/3 off so better in store.

Tiggles · 25/09/2021 17:17

@dizzygirl1 to buy a decent bike firstly avoid Halfords their bikes are heavy and expensive for what you get.

Frog bikes are very good, last well and you can usually sell them on for almost as much as you paid for them.
Otherwise find a local independent bike dealer.

PoirotAndHisMoustache · 25/09/2021 17:25

@Chocolateemergency i have a 25% off code for olliella if you want it

Are they that bad? Mine are set on the carrera make that only halfords do, as all their mates have them

DoucheCanoe · 25/09/2021 17:47

@dizzygirl1 my son is a mountain biker and has always had Carrera bikes from Halfords (the brand's often mentioned on here are WAY over our budget), maybe we've been lucky but we've never had an issue and they've lasted until outgrown then passed on.

DoucheCanoe · 25/09/2021 17:48

@mummyof2boys30, my teen swears by Carrera.

DollyPartBaked · 25/09/2021 18:12

@QOD - I'm also annoyed with H&B. Mine was dispatched but sent to the wrong place and customer services have not been very helpful.

sycamorescrumptious · 25/09/2021 18:18

Decathlon bikes are good, we found them cheaper and lighter than Halfords and pretty tough too!

gratedbeetroot · 25/09/2021 18:29

I posted on a previous thread but I had issues with H&B last year. My parcel was despatched but never left their warehouse according to tracking and they wouldn’t attempt to find it Hmm Customer services were very unhelpful. Had to say I was going to claim through PayPal to get a refund.

MeredithGreyishblue · 25/09/2021 18:32

Blacks have some decent stuff in the sale and it's free delivery this weekend if you have any walking / camping fans to buy for. Some North Face & Didriksons parkas and decent boots.
I was looking for camping stuff for scouts but might be tempted for me too!

I have a free delivery code if that’s what you’re after?
Turboface · 25/09/2021 18:52

@Mumto3thatsme Yes, delivery code I am after.

Tigger83 · 25/09/2021 19:08

@PoirotAndHisMoustache if it's still available I'd love it please!!

xmasdealhunter · 25/09/2021 19:12

@escapeyou we've got these slushy cups (bought in the summer) and they are pretty decent, the top review explains how to properly use them. I wouldn't bother with one of the plug in machines x
