@AnotherOne4, thank you for introducing us to something that sounded so wrong in the thread title. Also loved the review you shared:
‘ Not only is it decorative, but also quite heavy. If you had intruders you could take them down with this also. Multipurpose’

If you’re posting anything specifically for me please do @ me or I may not spot it. It’s helpful if when sharing bargain info you bold it to make it easy for people to differentiate between chat and bargain links.

Vodafone codes thread here

Second message has a few links and info which I’ll slowly build up, let me know if there’s anything you’d like me to add to it Thanks

@VolcanicProtectorMan thanks again. The "unsure what to buy" sounds like a brilliant tool.. I'll give it a go.

Rockhopper81 · 25/09/2021 13:58

@oatmilkisntsobad

The John Lewis website says they aren't doing personalised tins, but lots of news reports are saying they're doing personalised tins in store, with Oxford Street already 'up and running' and other participating stores to be good to go by the end of the month - maybe there's just no personalised version available online?

livingthegoodlife · 25/09/2021 14:02

The Range - had lots of Harry Potter stuff. I bought a Gryffindor password protected diary for £14.99 seems to be £25+

Lots of other bits

Also Christmas themed pez dispenser - Santa, gingerbread man & snowman. Great stocking fillers £1.25.

Dreamingofwalden · 25/09/2021 14:05

I reckon they will still sell it under a different name which is what they usually do. As you say piklers aren’t new. Loads of other people sell them including on Etsy .
The screenshotted one looked a bit funny and not as high as normal.

happytobemrsg · 25/09/2021 14:05
@happytobemrsg Are these joke books any good? My soon to be 8 year old loves jokes and was looking at these ones but you cant see any examples of the jokes online to see whether they are any good?
I haven’t looked at DS’ yet (he’s 5) but the reviews look really good. At £5 it seems a good stocking filler that’s a bit different tbf

happytobemrsg · 25/09/2021 14:06

Not sure where the “tbf”came from!

Vebrithien · 25/09/2021 14:06
@Vebrithien not so much if a bargain but if your husband has specific favourites then you can get a personalised Quality street tin from John Lewis and pick which chocs are inside, it’s a much bigger tin too - 1.2kg whereas the plastic tubs are only 650g. details here
I think I love you!!!

happytobemrsg · 25/09/2021 14:09

Ive got a nice electric oil burner & am currently using a White Company oil. Any Christmas oils you’d recommend? I think it’ll get me in the mood 🧑‍🎄

Yeknom · 25/09/2021 14:15

psuedocream3 · 25/09/2021 14:28

Ricekrispie22 · 25/09/2021 14:34

Gorgeous pop up Harry Potter book. This is the cheapest I’ve seen it.

IggyAce · 25/09/2021 14:35

Just bought a slush puppy maker set with blue syrup £5.99 in b&m. It's £14.99 on Amazon.

Scout2016 · 25/09/2021 14:54

@happytobemrsg and @Yeknom thank you! It's her birthday soon after Christmas which I have already got some Roald Dahl Top Trumps for so might do one RD Christmas and jokes for 6 year old one for birthday.

happytobemrsg · 25/09/2021 14:59

Brilliant! We will have some stand up comics come January!

Anyone know the cheapest way to buy monin syrups? Sister is specifically after cherry & blackberry

I haven't scoured the whole internet but cheapest I've bought mine from has been Amazon.

The plastic 1l bottles are usually cheaper than the glass 700ml (although the glass "nicer").

If you catch it at the right time & sign up for subscribe and save to save further (cancel straight after delivery) I've got them for about £5 ish pounds sometimes a tad lower if on offer.

Duckyneedsaclean · 25/09/2021 15:16

@happytobemrsg they often have some in tkmaxx, not sure on price though.

TheGirlWhoLived · 25/09/2021 15:19

Thanks @Ricekrispie22 that’s a great filler for dd1!

EvilHerbivore · 25/09/2021 15:20

@MotherOfGodHoulYerWhisht can I be cheeky and say I’d be very interested in your Olliella code if @Famousthehero doesn’t want it. My daughter would love one of their holdie trunks but I can’t justify the cost.

TheWoollybacksWife · 25/09/2021 15:29

@Billyandemily do you have Vodafone? They are doing a 10% discount with Halfords

Chocolateteabag · 25/09/2021 15:34

Thank you for 15% off The Entertainer / Toyshop code @psuedocream3

I have managed to get Geomag sets - already in the sale with another 15% off with your code. But there are loads of other things in the Sale section too!
