@AnotherOne4, thank you for introducing us to something that sounded so wrong in the thread title. Also loved the review you shared:
‘ Not only is it decorative, but also quite heavy. If you had intruders you could take them down with this also. Multipurpose’

If you’re posting anything specifically for me please do @ me or I may not spot it. It’s helpful if when sharing bargain info you bold it to make it easy for people to differentiate between chat and bargain links.

I got 25% off if you want it @Famousthehero
Stunningly beautiful things but sadly my little ones are not so little anymore Sad

@Chocolateemergency

Short link failure! Hopefully this attempt works

Thanks for this - just got it for my Peppa obsessed 2 year old. It’s also £15 in Amazon but not available in my local one - might be worth a try if anyone is trying to avoid Amazon
VolcanicProtectorMan · 25/09/2021 09:24

Went to B&M and managed to get the grey initial stockings, loads there (Redditch store if anyone is nearby). They had some lovely looking coffee and hot choc gift sets that I bought for £3/£4. I’m getting a velvetiser for christmas and I also managed to find a child’s size polar mug for £2 which is decent as all I could find for child’s size mugs was on Etsy for £10 plus postage! They are ‘family’ mugs so also have adult size but I only needed a kids one. Not bad for before 9am.

VolcanicProtectorMan · 25/09/2021 09:25

Polar bear mug* 🙄

Raindancer411 · 25/09/2021 09:27

Thanks both but I couldn't get the homcom one to show @psuedocream3

Cloud1921 · 25/09/2021 09:31

Sorry if someone's already posted but some great half price toys in Tesco this week.

This silvanian families hill crest house down to £35 from £70

LikeSilver · 25/09/2021 09:34

For those looking for Pokémon cards - if your children are new to collecting I’m happy to send you a bundle of my son’s spares. Nothing valuable in there I’m afraid, but fine for kids starting out. Just PM me Smile

Agree with those saying amazon bundles are likely to be fakes. There are several Pokemon card collecting groups on Facebook you can join and people often have bundles of spares for sale.

Tina221 · 25/09/2021 09:36

Thanks very much @MsMiaWallace for the code, I ordered the projector torch and a dinosaur print shirt for one of my nephews. Really please 🎄

VeruccaSalty · 25/09/2021 09:41

We bought £20 fake oodies from Amazon last year, same patterns, very fluffy and no problems with wear and tear etc. but I have just checked and the seller is gone now, I imagine for copyright reasons.

Also regarding Imaginext superhero sets, they are all over Markeplace and Gumtree, you can usually get a bundle of them for very cheap (and no packaging to dispose of). I think we got four or five sets plus a couple of vehicles for £30

Tinysnickers · 25/09/2021 09:48

@Duckyneedsaclean

Bad news for the cheap aldi Piller Sad
Aldi obvs didn't do their due diligence regarding the name, didn't take much to google and see if it was registered!

As for the product, I wonder if they will sell it under a different name, as I would suspect the product itself is probably already manufactured and on a container ship by now. Its just a pikler triangle, they've existed for over 100 years and I'd be very surprised if the design itself was protected.

Gigglechristmas · 25/09/2021 09:53

@Tinysnickers - I hope they come back on sale asap, as I was hoping for a good value climbing triangle. They are so expensive, even secondhand!

Do people really recommend them? Interested in others experiences and also if anyone spots a good deal on this, please let me know, as I seem to have given birth to a small mountain goat.

Rhubarbsoup · 25/09/2021 09:55

I suspect they'll just change the name, probably like hoover they perhaps wrongly assumed triclimb was the generic name rather than pikler triangle.

NaturalBlondeYeahRight · 25/09/2021 10:01

@Raindancer411 I got this one for my 20 yr old as she needed a new desk for uni. Was easy to put together and is really well made/sturdy

@Vebrithien not so much if a bargain but if your husband has specific favourites then you can get a personalised Quality street tin from John Lewis and pick which chocs are inside, it’s a much bigger tin too - 1.2kg whereas the plastic tubs are only 650g. details here

RJnomore1 · 25/09/2021 10:29

@happytobemrsg try katie loxton for a jewellery box, small and medium ones are less than that, it’s all so pretty and comes in lovely wrapping/packaging.

JanuaryEl5ieBill · 25/09/2021 10:38

Just got a lot of clothes from our big tesco for the kids with the 25% off, maybe not for Christmas but they need them anyway. Not many toys discounted there though.

Spotted they had some of the big little people books in their 2 for £7, only had Stephen Hawking and David Attenborough but good value I think.

AnotherOne4 · 25/09/2021 10:42

@Startaler

Olli Ella has a spin the wheel for freebies and discounts on its site.
I did the spin the wheel and got a 15% discount code if anyone would like to use it. 11GUJZQR
psuedocream3 · 25/09/2021 10:45

@Raindancer411 Sorry, not sure how to fix the link. If you go to the AOSOM website, and type in 'HOMCOM 133L x 55W x 123H cm Multi-Level Steel Wood Computer Workstation Desk With Shelves And Drawers' it should come up. The black one is reduced to around £80 and there is an 11% code - aosom11 or 12% off via the app - NEWAPP

We have this one in oak and it's gorgeous, the space for a comuter tower and the shelves/drawer were what made us choose it over others for a similar price.

Really liked this but just looked it up and they're not doing it this year sadly

OhThatChicken · 25/09/2021 11:06

Has anyone got any Lakeland voucher codes or info about sales please? Have my eye on a couple of gifty bits but also need to buy a heated airer so thinking about going for it all now.

hahahayoumustbejoking · 25/09/2021 11:09

Have asked in style & beauty but asking here too as in a quandary.

Looking to buy the Dyson Supersonic for my daughter but it's £300!

Do they ever come down in price nearer Christmas? Or am I as well to get it now so I have it?

Boots are offering 10% TopCashback today so I'd get £30. Annoyingly they don't seem to accept discount codes for Dyson

Notlongnow1 · 25/09/2021 11:27

@hahahayoumustbejoking

this may be of interest - predicts Black Friday deals on it - special bundles etc. even if not discounts as such. May be worth waiting to see.

RJnomore1 · 25/09/2021 11:32

@hahahayoumustbejoking boots have 20 percent student discount this weekend if you have any pals with a student in the family?
