@AnotherOne4, thank you for introducing us to something that sounded so wrong in the thread title. Also loved the review you shared:
‘ Not only is it decorative, but also quite heavy. If you had intruders you could take them down with this also. Multipurpose’

If you’re posting anything specifically for me please do @ me or I may not spot it. It’s helpful if when sharing bargain info you bold it to make it easy for people to differentiate between chat and bargain links.

@IfyoushouldmeetaCrocodile I have an 11 yr old and a 15yr old and they've never noticed and neither have their friends. I would say they are the best cakes Ive ever seen tbh and I could t tell the difference

psuedocream3 · 24/09/2021 19:22

@everybodysaycheese No problem :)

TheCrow · 24/09/2021 19:23

@dreamingofwalden I think that's b&m not home bargains from looking at the price tickets?

Dreamingofwalden · 24/09/2021 19:29

Blush you’re right!!! Thanks for noticing!

suneetime · 24/09/2021 19:34

Aldi has some good bargains online. Giant unicorn or dinosaur sprinklers, little paddling pools, game picnic mats. Not very festive but might be useful for some.

PattyPan · 24/09/2021 19:36

The White Company... do they ever do discount codes? Thinking of getting a Christmassy candle for MIL. I've got the free delivery from signing up to the newsletter but £20 still seems like a lot for a candle to me!

Tiggles · 24/09/2021 19:42

I bought 4 fake oodies off amazon last year. They started at a tenner but was about 15 for the last one. I think they got popular.
Ds is wearing his now. It got a tiny hole in a seam on the shoulder. But worn most days and washed well. The other 3 all been washed and worn Almost as much and no problems at all. Lovely and warm - I work from home so wear mine I lot rather than have the heating on in the day.

Sneezein3s · 24/09/2021 19:45

@NoWordForFluffy I hadn’t thought of that. Thank you. Hopefully there’ll be some discounts from outlets that I can make good use of!

Minionbums · 24/09/2021 19:46

This is annoyingly local, I apologise in advance. But there’s a market stall in Bromsgrove that sells books, brand new, £2 or 3 for £5. Loads of kids books - including Usborne and similar - decent cookbooks, gifty books on gardening and crafts and booze. Spent a fortune and handed my husband a pile to give me at Christmas!

MummyGummy · 24/09/2021 19:46

Does anyone have a unidays code they could send me for office 20% off? Would be very much appreciated!

gratedbeetroot · 24/09/2021 19:57

Dont forget that you can use nectar points at Argos. Not quite double up but they often have a lot of good deals on toys and much more choice than in most Sainsbury’s stores.

Duckyneedsaclean · 24/09/2021 20:04

Messaged you, hope it works!
Notlongnow1 · 24/09/2021 20:16

Good news for a small independent company who don't deserve to be ripped off - Aldi literally could have called it anything else! Glad they have seen sense.

IfyoushouldmeetaCrocodile · 24/09/2021 20:18

@clpsmum thank you that's really helpful. I'm going to go for it. Can you offer any advice re sizing? I've just gone to order a kit for his 11th bday and the sizes are either 10-11 or 12-13 and the size chart is bonkers! He's average size so I was thinking to just go for 10-11 but often these things come up small? Usually if I couldn't decide I'd buy bigger and say he'd grow into it, but he'll only want to wear it for 6 months before it becomes last season's!!!

coolpattern · 24/09/2021 20:24
@thesearetherichesofthepoor I'm the same and can literally get four kits for the price of one!

@coolpattern it's footballsbest4u.com. Just order in plenty of time .

Great quality, wash well and free name and number which is a bonus
Thank you x

Really disappointed about Sainsbury’s double up, this is usually a highlight of year to be able to get £100 worth of things for Christmas, can’t believe they have pulled it. It was complicated enough for only the hardiest of bargain hunters to use, they didn’t make it easy. Will be shopping elsewhere. Thanks for the asda tip with the 25% off wine, have used that to stock up for Christmas

Duckyneedsaclean · 24/09/2021 20:40

Yes @Notlongnow1 good news for triclimb! Bad news for my bargain hunting Grin

DoucheCanoe · 24/09/2021 20:41

Excellent, glad someone got use of it @Argosmaniac Xmas Grin

That snobby playhouse gave me a giggle @Dreamingofwalden

ElephantandGrasshopper · 24/09/2021 20:50

DoofusRick · 24/09/2021 21:00

Can i ask please @RevolvingPivot, if the sundae sets are plastic or glass. I normally get a lift there with a friend and wondering if it's worth a visit, thank you.
