@AnotherOne4, thank you for introducing us to something that sounded so wrong in the thread title. Also loved the review you shared:
‘ Not only is it decorative, but also quite heavy. If you had intruders you could take them down with this also. Multipurpose’

If you’re posting anything specifically for me please do @ me or I may not spot it. It’s helpful if when sharing bargain info you bold it to make it easy for people to differentiate between chat and bargain links.

So pissed off with sainsburys. Last year I managed to get the kids presents on behalf of their grandparents (who were in isolation) and all the christmassy essential goody bits. Was so jealous of some of the killer savings people had on here I banked all my points for this 😩

Today I used the new scan thing and managed to save 40p on cheese....well done sainsburys. I'm off to morrisons.

ItsAllBlahBlahBlah · 24/09/2021 18:18

Thanks for all the recommendations for the bike bell. Rex London sell one for £1.99 which is good but I can't make up £30 for free del so I may need to look at amazon / ebay or rummage the aisles for abit. Its for my soon to be 2yo's stocking who will be inheriting his big bros balance bike. Big bro is getting their first pedal bike next week for their 4th bday (which has a bell so war will break out 😂)

Sneezein3s · 24/09/2021 18:18

@ItsAllBlahBlahBlah I’m gutted too - o feel like I’ve been tricked into being faithful all year and then been dumped. So many other larger supermarkets locally that I will use from now on. I’ll spend my points in Argos ASAP before they decide we can only spend in Sainsbury’s stores!

NoWordForFluffy · 24/09/2021 18:19

@Sneezein3s, don't forget you can spend them on eBay too.

clpsmum · 24/09/2021 18:20

@thesearetherichesofthepoor think it was me that mentioned the fake football kit site
I've had loads of kits from them they're fab but be warned delivery takes ages

ItsAllBlahBlahBlah · 24/09/2021 18:22

So true @NoWordForFluffy perhaps I can use my points to buy a bike bell from ebay. I feel like I need rid of the damn points now 😂

Thank you! I cannot stomach paying £100 for a kit DS will cover in mud and ketchup 😂 I'll order well in advance

Ricekrispie22 · 24/09/2021 18:26

40% off photo books ending on Monday

katemuff · 24/09/2021 18:30

For fake football tops I have ordered from Ali express and they take a month to arrive but are very good

MerylSqueak · 24/09/2021 18:43

The Turtle Doves code for free wrist warmers with a£25 spend is FREE-WW-SEPT

What is the site please?

clpsmum · 24/09/2021 18:49

@thesearetherichesofthepoor I'm the same and can literally get four kits for the price of one!

@coolpattern it's footballsbest4u.com. Just order in plenty of time .

Great quality, wash well and free name and number which is a bonus

DoucheCanoe · 24/09/2021 18:52

Not sure if this is exclusive to my account but I got an email code from Argos for free delivery.

@Onebabyandamadcat I don't think Claire's ever do the 3 for £5 online but last year they did have a really good online sale before Christmas with a code for extra money off so I'm hoping they do the same again this year

Argosmaniac · 24/09/2021 18:53

I am annoyed about the lack of double points this year too. We bought all the booze for Xmas with them. Now I just bought done with the 25% off deal.

Argosmaniac · 24/09/2021 18:55

@DoucheCanoe thank you for the code! It worked!

PissedOffNeighbour22 · 24/09/2021 19:08

@ItsAllBlahBlahBlah

Gosh, house of fraser offer no free del options even on a set spend. Rubbish.
Even worse, you have to pay for returns too. Ordered some 'bargains' that I saw mentioned on here plus some other stuff that all has to go back. Going to cost me an absolute fortune to return. Cheeky sods even ask you to return Recorded Royal Mail delivery even though they send it to you via crappy Hermes Hmm.
Everybodysaycheese · 24/09/2021 19:09

@psuedocream3 thank you for the code! Have used it to get a kidizoom camera for roughly £36. Was annoyed I didn't buy it a few months ago when it was on offer so this has really helped!

NoWordForFluffy · 24/09/2021 19:10

We've spent points on 25% off booze this year already, so I probably wasn't buying booze on double up. I had plenty of things I was going to buy though! I'm really annoyed. Xmas Angry
IfyoushouldmeetaCrocodile · 24/09/2021 19:11

Quick question about the fake football kits, can you tell they are fake? I know kids can be brutal about this stuff and I don't want to set ds up for rinsing just to save a few pounds Blush

TellMeDinosaurFacts · 24/09/2021 19:12

Is it me, or does this Dunelm picture look like a still from a Christmas horror movie?!

Bloody hell, @TellMeDinosaurFacts! Xmas Shock

Puffinhead · 24/09/2021 19:17

@PissedOffNeighbour22, re returns, if you paid by PayPal you can claim the cost of return postage back. But you’d still need to pay for it up front.

Dreamingofwalden · 24/09/2021 19:18

Major bargains in Home Bargains today. Snobby playhouses were on offer. I’ve had a look around and the one for £80 seems to be £160 elsewhere. I only had a quick scout online so if apologies if it is cheaper elsewhere. The one on stilts is £384 at Argos and Amazon. I was so tempted but we have enough in our garden. There was one with damaged packaging going for £40!

There was also a Batman lair which I think someone was looking for?
