Thanks @riverhouse for the title!

SIHastingsLiketheBattle · 18/09/2021 17:59

Reporting for duty in the new thread! I made it to B&M yesterday and nabbed the sacks for my 3 DC - we previously had matching ones from Matalan but they don't make them any more and wanted one for baby's first Christmas this year.

They also had matching family Christmas pyjamas which were a bargain - £5 each for children and £8/9 for women and men respectively. Will be hopefully getting us some after payday next week

toolazytothinkofausername · 18/09/2021 18:02

Thanks Reastie :)

Tina221 · 18/09/2021 18:11

Hi @TwinsandTrifle I went to m&s and they had the 3 light up shortbread tins and I picked up a gold tea tin ( last one on the shelf) didn't realise they have silver ones also 😍

Invasionofthegutsnatchers · 18/09/2021 18:12

Got my Typo earbuds connected, thanks for the help. The sound quality is amazing! I would have happily paid full price at £30 but £6 is awesome. DD keeps sniffing round them. Luckily I've bought her another pair (plus a spare pair in case either of us loses one) for her December birthday. She likes the look of them, quite grown up for a 10 year old. Success!

greyinganddecaying · 18/09/2021 18:24

Those who have the typo earbuds - having they been ok for using as hands free or just for listening to music?
I found that sound kept cutting out on my phone.

Invasionofthegutsnatchers · 18/09/2021 18:25

I've only tried them with music but I don't talk on the phone much to be honest.

LyraSilvertongueBelacqua · 18/09/2021 18:28

Thanks to the poster at the end of the previous thread for the diary recommendation. Trying to find one to work as a mum and a teacher and think I've found it on there!

Stocking idea for any teens who like to do their nails, I bought these (for me) and they're fab! Lots of different sets on Amazon, but these are the ones I have (sorry - awful with links!)

@msssm thank you so much for the neom info! That candle looks beautiful. Thanks to other posters who replied too I thought I was going bonkers imagining a body oil candle. Had no idea about the Sex candles 🤣🤣

Thanks to whoever originally posted about the Vulcan thing and to NoWordforFluffy for your help. The certificate arrived today and is perfect - excellent service and a great gift idea!

Now to find something for them for Christmas! Grin

NoWordForFluffy · 18/09/2021 18:46

@gratedbeetroot, I've done this cross stitch for DH this year. He gets regular Vulcan-based presents as he loves it so much! Xmas Grin

Thanks Reastie.

Everybody, how did you get the Picturebox Uno down to £8?

RainbowPhilosophy · 18/09/2021 18:54

Not a huge bargain, but if anyone is buying for a fan of Star Wars and Lego, thanks to the camels I've just ordered this for DH for £35, reduced from £44.99 and lowest price yet. Not sure where I'm going to hide it though Grin

Riverhouse · 18/09/2021 18:57

Just arrived home to see I made the thread title 🤣 In future I will double check before posting!!

Has anyone found reusable bags that could be used instead of Christmas gift bags?

That’s awesome! I cross stitch and this is one person I haven’t done one for yet! However, maybe next year, as I have a backlog to get through. I’ve got things like airfix model kits in the past as he likes doing stuff like that.

DumplingsAndStew · 18/09/2021 19:16

@cheeseaholic

I found some mug cake sachets in Lidls for 49p so will use as little stocking fillers!

Oooh thank you, I will look for those!

M&S had canvas totes with initials on them for £3.50. didn't have all letters though but I've not one for DSIL and will put her H&B beauty box in it
Knitsewthread · 18/09/2021 19:35

Sorry for long link and lack of price Blush MAC make up box is £35
