Thanks @riverhouse for the title!

These Lego figures have just gone back into stock in several stores where I live- London. Don’t know if they will be everywhere else also but worth checking. 50p each seems like great value for stocking fillings Smile

Just popped over to the B&M near my office. Got the Harry and Ron Pez dispensers, just need a Hermione now.

Had some Christmas stuff out, but not loads. Some nice decorations in peacock colours if that is your thing.

yoshiblue · 20/09/2021 13:00

@sittingonacornflake I've bought it for a 7 and a 8 year old. I'd say 7-11, junior school age.

Hang on I'll attach a photo...

yoshiblue · 20/09/2021 13:01

They have beautiful graphic illustrations and then facts around each page.

sittingonacornflake · 20/09/2021 13:48

@yoshiblue thanks

noscoobydoodle · 20/09/2021 14:01

@yoshiblue thank you for the 66 book club recommendations- for £40 I have got lovely books for my 3dc, 2 nieces and DH (and maybe one or two for me too...) For birthdays and christmas. There's a board book of the nutcracker which looks perfect for little ones' stockings for £1.79.

Fetchthevet · 20/09/2021 14:06

Many thanks to whoever first recommended the H&B boxes. I collected my £10 one yesterday, and I'm really impressed. It says the goods are worth £69, so it's a great bargain. I'm splitting it into 3 different gifts. Happy days!

Rockhopper81 · 20/09/2021 14:13

Thank you for the Made for Drink snacks - my order arrived today. I really appreciate that the packs of 6 bags I ordered come in a box, will make it much easier to wrap for my dad's birthday in November! Dates on them are end of January and end of February next year. Smile

Glad to know I’m not the only one starting to worry! I’ve done all of family/friends children already thanks to these threads but still have my own to finish Confused

pilgrim jewellery have 20% off with code DELIGHT
their codes usually work on sale items, which already have 50% off so can be pretty bargainous

WellThatsATurnipForTheBooks · 20/09/2021 15:46

Something a bit different for a food and drink hamper or stocking filler ....Kombucha (naturally sparkling fermented tea)

Hip Pop Kombucha - 6 bottles delivered for £10 instead of £20

When you go on the site you'll get a pop up, fill in your email and they send you a code that's valid for 15 mins I think it was.

Best before/use by is usually about 12 months

PinkJam · 20/09/2021 16:05

Does anyone know if the Smyths sale is starting tomorrow please? The £10 off every £50 spend.

(I know there is a Smyths thread but obviously this one has more traffic)

clpsmum · 20/09/2021 16:17

How exciting!

Tinysnickers · 20/09/2021 16:51

Not xmas but I need a party present for an 8year old boy. Budget £10-15
Past presents we've given were science kit, lego sets, craft things, remote control car.
Apparently he is no longer into lego and 'playing,'. His hobby is football but he already has countless balls, kit, books etc so finding something football related and not duplicate would be tricky.
He doesn't like books /reading so my usual default is no use here.
Anyone got any clever ideas?

NigelSlatersXmasTaters · 20/09/2021 16:51

"I want to use double up for a Joy Con, however. And that's not til mid-Nov!"

@NoWordForFluffy check that your Sainsbury's haven't moved their gaming section to Argos. Although items are displayed on the normal Sainsbury's shelf there are signs now at our nearest Sainsbury's saying "buy me at Argos in Sainsbury's".

Both our nearest stores now do this so a joycon wouldn't be included in the double up although certain games are still.

NoWordForFluffy · 20/09/2021 17:05

I have to trek to a different one, @NigelSlatersXmasTaters, but will look when I go for the toy sale. It was a mix of stuff they were selling or at Argos when I went last year. I'll just balance the books a different way if I can't get it there!
