Thanks @riverhouse for the title!

Been scrolling and can't find it sorry! was there a discount code for Rex London?

msssm · 19/09/2021 13:41

@lexloofah

Some advice please oh wise ones

DD11 has asked for make up ( yes I said she doesn't need it etc but can see why she wants to try it ) I hardly ever wear it so don't browse for it that often so no idea really. Have tried searching for starter sets, teen sets but not really found much. Just looking for a few decent things in a cool/grown up looking set/bag she can easily learn to apply and have fun with in appropriate shades oh and cruelty free. Any advice from past experience gratefully received ta

I got some for my 10 year old granddaughter last year from Superdrug.

Gorgeous colours, some unicorn shades whick went down well, but all in proper palettes with proper brushes etc. Great prices too. Worth a look to see if they have any this year.

I also got her a make up bag which was a set with one of the items so it looked like it all went together. She was thrilled.

@lexloofah

This was one of the bits I bought her as an example. Hope this helps.

Found this via an Insta person I follow

India and Albert jewellery 40% off everything with code ALLCHANGE40
They have some cute little charms such as the coffee bean above - which I now need to drop a hint to DH about , tiny (& bigger) seashells and coins etc

Annie1290 · 19/09/2021 13:58

Havianas have a good sale on, and free shipping for today. Just got DH his yearly pair of flip flops for £12!

winewolfhowls · 19/09/2021 14:00

Thanks for the chocolate advise, will stick to the dark

mammyaroundmadness · 19/09/2021 14:12

Hi

I'm really late to the threads this year.

Keep seeing the cooling towels mentioned can anyone share a link. Sports mad ds sound perfect for him.

Thank you

AnotherOne4 · 19/09/2021 14:24

@mammyaroundmadness Cooling Towels
It was me who posted about the towels. They were a BOGOF, but I see it's no longer available. It could come back, so maybe one to keep a watch on.

AnotherOne4 · 19/09/2021 14:27

@mammyaroundmadness These Cooling Towels are 50% off

IveGotALovelyBunchOfCoconuts · 19/09/2021 14:28

The towels were 4 for £8.99 so with the deal were 8 for £8.99 (not the insane price they're listed now!). Looks like there is a pack of 6 for £8.99, so that's not too bad!

dementedma · 19/09/2021 14:33

Just snapped up the cooling towels on Amazon Prime. Thanks for link.
Did anyone else order kits from The Spicery a few threads back? Mine hasnt been delivered yet.

WellThatsATurnipForTheBooks · 19/09/2021 14:51

@nocutsnobuttsnococonuts I've just seen this french loaf and cinnamon bun keyring on Etsy.

(apologies iif it's already been mentioned or linked to, I've lost track of where I am as the thread moves so fast!)

Squ1ggle · 19/09/2021 14:56

Just picked up these nerf guns in asda, couldn't see a price on the shelf but when we scanned them they came up as £2.49. Seem to be around £8-£12ish elsewhere so not bad.

Has anyone seen any good deals on Brio sets? It will be the first one my son will have, thinking to get the battery/usb train? Any advice greatly appreciated I'm new to Brio. Thanks

user1019273703 · 19/09/2021 15:05

Picked this up today in b & m. £22.99 seems a bit of a bargain (barbie fully furnished dolls house)

If it was the new one it’s not due for release until October
PattyPan · 19/09/2021 15:37

Just catching up - someone on the last thread mentioned DIYing a tin of chocolates for her DS with allergies. I do this for myself (vegan rather than allergies but I can vouch for Moo Free chocolate!) and I got a lovely vintage tin from Etsy. There are loads on there from all sorts of brands/designs and at a range of prices.

Kiteflying21 · 19/09/2021 15:46

Me again! Can anyone remember when Smyth’s normally do there £10 of £50 spend (if they do it this year)? Is it normally October? x

Check out Facebook marketplace. We have tonnes of the stuff and have only ever bought one set brand new. It really stands the test of time and can usually get some great bargains.

Even if you got a bundle off FB so you had lots of track and then got a nice small set/powered train to go with it.

Tightsonmyboat · 19/09/2021 15:58

@pinkdaydreams Tobi & guy XXL ones on Amazon, they dropped down to £17.99 and get good reviews on this thread. Think they've dropped in price a couple of time recently so worth adding to your basket and keeping an eye out.

here

msssm · 19/09/2021 16:05

@Bicnod

DD (6) has said she would like a toy puppy that walks, preferably on a lead... Does anyone have any recommendations? 🐶
I saw one in home bargains about 2 weeks ago. Was in the 2 for £20 toy offer. Not sure if that is still running but it was a very cute white fluffy dog with either a pink or purple harness. If you have one near it might be worth a look.
IamChipmunk · 19/09/2021 16:06

@Kiteflying21 there is a thread running currently keeping and eye on Smyths if you want to join?

Kiteflying21 · 19/09/2021 16:10

@IamChipmunk Thank you, I’ve found it x
