@NightOwl19 how about this robot? My DC’s friend has one and I think it’ll be on his list this year!

IggyAce · 16/09/2021 19:55

Teen dd has just shown me a tiktok of Primark’s snuddie they are £14 and they are like an oodie. She hoping to get one with her birthday money, so fingers crossed the metro centre store has them in when we visit.

ItsAllBlahBlahBlah · 16/09/2021 19:56

Lots of minion fake oodiea at primark in Reading today

ItsAllBlahBlahBlah · 16/09/2021 19:57

Oodies I should say. Im heading back in to town on Sunday/Monday, if anyone is desperate for one, let me know and I can post one

"Just rang our Home Bargains to check on the pumpkin jars again, the man said that they're only going to be stocked in the extra large stores and smaller stores won't be getting them at all ☹️ I asked him what our closest extra large store was and he said Washington (31 miles away!)"

He's talking rubbish. All of our stores have got them, even the small one (my work involves knowing what they've got in - awesome job I know Grin) and half the time they don't have a clue which barcodes will come and which won't!

NigelSlatersXmasTaters · 16/09/2021 19:58

Anyone know what designs these primark oldies are in? Please say minecraft Grin

Although Asda said they were sold out of the Lego Fish tank £18 and Stat Wars Brickheadz £12, mine sti had some sitting on the self, so worth a look

Riverhouse · 16/09/2021 20:14

Oh, to have an edit button!! Sorry..they were still on the shelf

Duckyneedsaclean · 16/09/2021 20:16

You get £10 with of points for every £60 spent on Fitbit & electrical beauty at boots. I've ordered a Fitbit versa 3 (for me Grin) which was reduced to from 200 to 170 and added on a pack of toothbrush heads for £10. Getting £30 of points so essentially the Fitbit is £140!

Link to all included items here

Oh this would be amazing!
Scout2016 · 16/09/2021 20:28

@Carrie76 thank you, they look really cool.

Carrie76 · 16/09/2021 20:32

@mummymilkfloat I got my dd the crayola advent calendar last year and it went down very well. There was a pad at the back of it with an activity sheet for each day and then a door to open with a stationery item to use to complete the sheet. I was really impressed with it, all the bits have been used during the year so no wasteful tat! I paid £19 for it in October so the price may come down

Mumto3thatsme · 16/09/2021 20:36

Next thread title, the one with the sti sitting on the shelf?

Thank you for this! I'll hold out hope then, when I spoke to a lady a while back she said they didn't know what was being sent in their delivery but the way the guy on the phone was talking it sounded like they'd had some sort of store email saying they definitely weren't getting them. And their lastest facebook post said they were sending stock to more XL stores soon so it seemed to confirm what he'd said. The search continues 😂🎃
MsMiaWallace · 16/09/2021 20:47

Amazon have the Squeakie Balloon dog toy for £32.99.
This is £50-£60 elsewhere.

Think they were sought after toy last year.

😂
makingmiracles · 16/09/2021 21:01

@MsMiaWallace I bought that about 3 Wk’s ago from amazon for £29.99 which I thought was a good deal, but allegedly people on face book were saying they saw them at either HB or BnM for around £15 so maybe worth looking there first although I didn’t spot any at BnM this Week when I went.

Kollamoolitumarellipawkyrollo · 16/09/2021 21:05
@Riverhouse did you get a dispatch email from fossil? I have an order confirmation but nothing since the 10th. Perhaps I'm too used to Prime delivery
I got 4 out of the 6 items I ordered. The email
Didn’t even mention the other two things or when they’d be dispatched which I thought was pretty poor. Took some chasing by email and in the end a phone call to find out the warehouse didn’t have any and even though there were 3 in stock in shops, they hadn’t been allocated to my order (as is their usual way). I said I’d like them cancelled rather than permanently sat there as a back order that would never happen.

mummymilkfloat · 16/09/2021 21:06

@Carrie76 that sounds perfect, thank you! I don’t mind buying them elaborate advent calendars if the bits will get used/played with.
I knew this thread would have some advice 😊
Thank you!

RicherThanYew · 16/09/2021 21:06

Whoever asked about Minecraft gifts There's a lovely looking Minecraft advent calendar on Amazon and it's £16.99 down from £18.99, not a massive bargain but it looks fabulous. Here goes my attempt at a link ...

www.amazon.co.uk/Minecraft-Advent-Calendar-Stationery-Christmas/dp/B092D6TVGH/ref=mp_s_a_1_17?dchild=1&crid=22M96B70ES67J&keywords=hot+wheels+advent+calendar&sprefix=Hotwheels+advent&tag=mumsnetforu03-21&qid=1631822392&sr=8-17

NigelSlatersXmasTaters · 16/09/2021 21:08

@TheCrow keep holding out hope. They'll come I'm sure of it! Stock has been slow but it'll get there

brightwhite · 16/09/2021 21:22

@Carrie76 thanks for that about crayola - would it suit a 4 year old do you think?

I am not sure what advent calendar to get as dc likes to feel things by mouth Confused so there are loads I just can't get and had paw patrol last year which was ok.

Was thinking of just getting a chocolate one and getting an extra £20 present for the Christmas Eve box/ Christmas Day.

Carrie76 · 16/09/2021 21:34

@brightwhite the bits in it would be fine, scented markers, pencils, glue stick etc. There was even a Christmas tree to make from plasticine. I’d say most of it would be fine, some of the sheets had older type things like a word search.

MrsCrimbo74 · 16/09/2021 21:37

Not a massive bargain but good to separate for a table present or gifts for friends, a pack of 6 Tiffany eau de parfum crackers for £52.99 with free delivery and you get 1.7% cash back through top cash back.
