We've got thunder

Oh I like that calendar! Might get it for myself!

We need a bit of thunder to break this humidity. According to met Éireann it's just to rain all day tomorrow though.

I have become obsessed with watching married at first sight uk.

Our rain has moved from 80% at 2am back to 50% at 11am...it's going to bloody miss us! 🙄

I think the HGP is just one of those things I imagine I'm the kind of person to compete but in reality, very little will get done. I like making lists though so I'll crack in with planning it anyway.

For those on weather watch - no bloody thunderstorm here. Just warm, humid and horrible.
Tomorrow's forecast is now getting up to 20° with between 10 and 60% chances of rain throughout. And almost the whole country's under a yellow thunderstorm warning so that's just lovely.

I've done a Vicks steam to try and clear my head which has worked a little but not enough so I have a cracking headache still.

Neros I haven't dared put that on incase I get sucked in. Have been watching The Chair on Netflix instead but I'll be finishing that tomorrow.

It turns out that the vanishing forecast was right! We've had epic rain overnight. The type that wakes you up. Hurrah! I'm hoping my allotment has a growth spurt. 🤣 (The weeds can fuck off though!)

Time to get up now...my first train is at 8.15 and I'm walking to the station. Exciting!

fluffy we had rain at 2am, not particularly heavy, but enough to start with. Stop reading this and get a bloody move on. 😂

So so muggy here! Thunderstorms due this morning with rain so fingers crossed it breaks soon.

It's muggy here too, the sitting room is 25° and take the coolest room in the house. We haven't had much rain.

Yeah. Muggy here too. A 'getting sweaty sitting doing nothing' kind of day. Grim!

We didn't have as much rain as we thought; there's only about 5 inches in the buckets.

Bring on the storms is all I can say. The air needs to clear!

I'm now bored waiting for train 2! I left over half an hour between trains as I don't trust them to be on time. However, it was.

There isn't much to do at Wigan train stations! 🤣 I'll get my cross stitch out once I'm on the train. (Forgot my scissors, mind you...full threads only, ha ha!)

Muggy here too but the torrential rain hopefully means the storm is coming and it's grey so it appears a lot more wintery than it is.

I've got a head down and focus day in work so may play some festive music in the background - I love some of the videos on YouTube if you search for orchestral Christmas music - orchestras playing classics and usually a background of a crackling fire or something too

My Flu jab has been put back by a week. Lloyds Pharmacy (inside a Sainsburys) having "logistics issues".

Fluffy I booked ours for end of Sept and there was NO email...I tried again for 1/10 and got an email straight away. I think their system was playing up possibly they already knew there was a prob with supply I'd re-book if I were you. Do it now.

Oh, and we got a phonecall yesterday from Lloyds, not an email, to arrange a replacement appointment from the 1/10, no mention of the earlier (23/9) appointments.

Ah. Buggeration.

I supposedly have one at Boots on 25 Sept too, but that's not showing in my account, so booked the Lloyds one too. I'll book Lloyds again and try for my Boots one first!

Oh, my Boots one is 18 Sept. I took a screenshot after last year's shit show when they claimed I hadn't booked!

We had torrential rain about 6.30am, and then it's been muggy since.

DD and I have been to playgroup, and she was exhausted. She's currently asleep in my arms on the bed after feeding to sleep, and R-Cat is sleeping on my legs. I am very sticky...

I am an aspirational HGP-er, same as I'm an aspirational poncer. Maybe one day
