@Oreocrumbs - hope you all enjoy the Oodies as much as we do!

noscoobydoodle · 29/08/2021 23:02

@WhereIsThisGoing - I got my DD the NEWYES LCD Writing Tablet,8.5inch from Amazon when she was 4. She still uses it daily, as does her little brother, and although it's slim, and was cheap, it's very robust and is still going strong 2 years later! The pen is attached with a sturdy coiled plastic wire so it doesn't get lost.

Givealittlebit · 29/08/2021 23:10

BANKHOL code also not working for me for Debenhams 🤷🏻‍♀️

TheCrow · 29/08/2021 23:10

@Sisisimone tried to use the Debenhams code for free delivery and it says expired or not recognised 🙁

TheWoollybacksWife · 29/08/2021 23:12

@Ewock the reindeer place settings were from Bear and Rose on Etsy

MrsPerfect12 · 29/08/2021 23:15

@WiltingWalli

For those looking at more reasonably priced Oodies I would HIGHLY recommend these:

www.ebay.co.uk/itm/184612500913

I bought from this seller last Xmas (I just searched my Ebay history to find the link). They are amazing, really excellent high quality fabric and stitching, wash fantastically and still look brand new 8 months later despite being washed pretty much every week as the dc live in them.

They're £20.99 but you also get 10% off the second if you order more than one.

I'm always dubious about buying from Ebay but these were the best buy I think I've ever had from there.

Thank you for this @WiltingWalli I've just order for DD and myself.
woodwaj · 29/08/2021 23:16

I've not tried this current code but last time I was on Debenhams I had trouble with the delivery code. Make sure you select the next day option AND put the code in. It didn't recognise the code when the default delivery was selected to standard. Hope that makes sense/works

oatmilkisntsobad · 29/08/2021 23:18

I had to select the standard delivery for the code to work on Debenhams

TheCrow · 29/08/2021 23:22

Still getting this no matter which delivery option I select

Very odd!

Martinisarebetterdirty · 29/08/2021 23:34

The Debenhams code expired at 6pm - on the website earlier it said only valid 9-6, so might be back tomorrow?

Thank you I managed to get several (a lot) they are so lovely for the price

WiltingWalli · 30/08/2021 02:08

I decided to suck up the Debenhams delivery charge, I managed to get three lovely hoodies for ds1 for £31.50, should have been £75! Great deals, thank you. He costs a fortune to buy for now he's in man sizes 🤦🏻‍♀️

Also thanks for the previous mentions of writing tablets - I didn't even know these existed until today, I can't believe how cheap they are for such a cool little gadget. Just bought the Newyes 8.5 inch for 4 year old Ds3, absolute bargain, they look fab.

Mustangsallyis · 30/08/2021 06:51

On Debenhams postage, it's delivery for £1 today using code 1POUND

uggpug · 30/08/2021 07:52

£2 bonus cashback on TCB need to activate on topcashback and spend £5 by 11.59pm.

MrsPToBe123 · 30/08/2021 08:13

20% off everything on ASOS (think it's just today). Use the code YAYPAY.

Great for getting branded items cheaper.

sorryiasked · 30/08/2021 08:17

Brand Alley have a Christmas Shop including caroline gardner cards, gisela Graham range, sequin stockings, tree, lights etc.
(They also have clarks & Geox school shoes half price)

BestofLuck · 30/08/2021 08:24

@user1466167893 I’m another for the Ooni pizza oven. Ours has been great. Definitely agree you need to think about where to put it when in use.
Think I saw a Lakeland leaflet with a voucher in the weekend paper which I can dig out if needed.

Theimpossiblegirl · 30/08/2021 08:28

I got my pizza oven direct through ooni as they had stock. Went through top cash back and got a few pennies.
The peel and other accessories I bought on Amazon and in the range.
It was DHs birthday present last March and we use it loads.
I think we got the Karu, it's a wood burner but you can get an attachment for gas.
It's also quite portable so you can take it camping.

CharlieWeasley · 30/08/2021 08:35

Thanks for the debenhams code. Annoyingly I had stuff sat in my basket all day yesterday then tried to check out at 6.01pm! But nearly all is still in stock today so I'm happy now.
I bough DH an ooni a couple of years ago. We use it loads. We bought a little camping table to use it on (just make sure the surface can cope with some heat), after using it on the outside table the first time, then having nowhere to eat as it was too hot to move for hours!

Katinkak8 · 30/08/2021 08:41

Thanks for the Jellycat recommendation. I was literally just looking at buying one the other day. Great find!

ItsAllBlahBlahBlah · 30/08/2021 08:42

Can anyone recommend a toy combine harvester? Looking at about £20-25 mark and needs to be fairly hardy. It's for my DS who will be 4 in October. Thank you!

Dreamingofwalden · 30/08/2021 08:49

@ItsAllBlahBlahBlah for super sturdy we have the Wow toys one which my eldest was bought when he was 2. It’s pretty indestructible- even my demolition toddler twins haven’t managed to damage. A more grown up one is the Playmobil - it’s pretty sturdy but has bits that can be taken off and lost. They both plop hay bales out the back. Famousthehero · 30/08/2021 08:53

Funnily enough the upgrow walkie talkies have just price dropped to £16.99, which is the lowest they seem to go

walkie talkies

Dreamingofwalden · 30/08/2021 08:54

In a bit of a rush but that’s prob not the best price for the combine.
