I was thinking earlier, surely it's time some of these hit the shops (especially the GH Get Ahead one). Has anybody been looking / happened upon any yet?

I can't stop myself buying them, even when I tell myself I won't!

I bought the Christmas Country Living. DS1 has Covid and DH had seen him so we have been isolating and I thoroughly enjoyed lying on my bed refacing it. DH is much better after eating mum’s Chicken broth.

Booths book is out in October. I live 20 minutes from one and we have been going once a month because the food is good quality and it is much quieter than other supermarkets during Covid. It is pricey but we are selective. I think they do some Mail Order now.
Look forward to the GH one.

By the way the Salted Caramel Cheesecake was delicious. We gave some to friends.

Yes, Booths' book day is a big deal in our house! I have one about 15 mins away and one about 25 mins away. I prefer the one a bit further away for collecting at Christmas, as the other is on a retail park which gets manic, unless you're there at sparrow's fart.

GH is my favourite magazine, I think.

Went to Booths yesterday and the woman on checkout didn’t seem to know what I was talking about. I haven’t seen her before so she might be new. Anyway I found out they are definitely expecting them on the 15 th October. GH Christmas- there weren’t any left. I had been looking forward to buying it so settled for a gardening mag with extras. No other Christmas mags. Might go up to the services as they have lots usually and might get some diesel up there as we are getting low. Already been in isolating for ages so need to get out hence Booths.

Do Booths do mail order?
I'm in the Deep South here so feeling envious.

They have in previous years, @BaconAndAvocado, but didn't last year. Some stuff is available via Amazon, but I don't know if that stretches to the Christmas food as well.
