Greetings folks, it’s that time again!

Starting a fresh for 2021, so if anyone has any specific links they’d like or think would be handy to add to the list for the next thread please do let me know.

Hope you’ve all had a better year so far than last year and here’s hoping things will be at a point for a more celebratory Christmas with friends and family (and lots of bargains) this year.

I’m still a bit bitter about missing out on the wax lyrical candles last year

It's worth keeping an eye out for the candles as they pop up on offer throughout the year for about 4 quid. They're well worth it as they are really big and look very fancy in their boxes.

Hi! New here, loving this thread! We have a 5 year old daughter and a 5 year old niece, both with a birthday 2 days either side of Christmas day 🤪 so always looking for bargains.

This barbie camper is 50 quid down from 80 quid. Great reviews too.

Looking for a deal on dobble junior, can't believe how expensive it is on Amazon compared to normal dobble.

Also, I saw a few comments about Doctor sets - not quite the same but the Melissa and Doug vet set is excellent.

@dreamingwondering to be honest we've found even small kids cope well with normal dobble, you can get themed ones to suit them better if nec.
Alternatively, look for "spot it" junior.
(If you're not fussy about buying genuine then Aliexpress sells all versions for around £3/4 delivered).

@MerylSqueak I’ve been using Halo gel polishes recently, having previously used Sensationail, and they last really well. The polish I have on at the minute has been on since 23rd July with no chips.

beautypie have silk scrunchies in stock right now for £14.92 for 6 which is an incredibly good price (the market leaders are £40). You do need membership though which starts from £5 a month but even at £19 these are still a good price. I have put my referral link in the referral thread which does give you the first month free. I think it might be a minimum of 3 months subscription but not 100% sure but last year they also had silk pillowcases and eye masks which are all fab presents for fashion conscious teen girls.

We have found 3 years + play normal Dobble fine. Ours beats us some rounds and it is almost always cheaper!

Just a word of warning the cat game is NOT suitable for kids, ok for older teens. Its like pictionary but some of the cards are things like "a porn film, American pie, giving birth" I found this out when playing it with my 7 and 10 year old at the time.... 😂

The dog game is brilliant though and very suitable for kids!

I thought they would make a nice Christmas eve gift for my girls and we can put them up on display once done.

I followed last year under a different name.B and M have got some reduced toys.They had soft toy Peppa Pigs in a fancy dress outfit for £5 reduced from £9.99.
