MsBombastic - haven't read the whole thread, so sorry if it's already been suggested, but www.indigo-silver.co.uk is great for silver earrings.

The children's section is quite childish - but if you go through the other sections, tehre are some nice things. Have bought my (13 yr old) niece the rose quartz cluster earrings.

LedodgyDickinson · 20/11/2007 14:01

ChocoLaLa
Brilliant fairtrade, homemade to order chocs, very ethical, got first prize in the Guardian Food mag this weekend for their pralines, but personally I thought the dark chocolate lemon chocs were the closest that I'll ever come to believing in heaven. They come in sexy little tins (because they don't use plastic tray packaging, for eco and more thrifty transport reasons)

Housemum · 20/11/2007 19:40

If you have the sort of family who asks you what to buy, and if you are sick of getting loads of new items to store, consider one big expensive toy that comes in "parts" - eg this jungle lodge Jungle Lodge

We bought the lodge for DD2's 4th birthday, and various relatives bought some of the jeep/characters/animals. The website I've linked to was the cheapest back in April.

I love the Simply Sensitive washing powder these guys do plus their web deals are great value and they don't charge for delivery (much less hassle than lugging a box home from the supermarkets).
