Tell me this is perfectly acceptable to do? Grin

My family aren't huge cheese eaters so for Christmas I just make sure we have the basics in ... a strong supermarket cheddar and some Brie

But on a whim I decided to order some cheese just for me. So I've just spent 30 quid on Neal's Yards and bought 2 different cheddars, a goats cheese and some damson paste

Seems just a bit ... extravagant. Even by my standards!

Absolutely! In fact you could spend that easily a quite a small amount at a good cheese shop. You're worth it!

Last Christmas I spent £120 on a year's cheese subscription for me dh

I'm going to go for it on Christmas Eve and make it last until Boxing Day I think. It's only 2 cheddars, a goats cheese and - weirdly - some damson paste. I have nice fig and walnut crackers here. And only about 250g of each cheese

Yep. I really haven't considered anyone else in the fam! Although do have a large cheddar block and Brie for them

We have cheese arriving this week. It's supposed to be for New Years, but I'm not sure it will make it.

I love that you did this
