Mustbethewine · 27/11/2020 08:28

Hot Chocolte velvetiser. He loves hot Chocolte and gadgets so couldn't go wrong with that one 😂
A back massager to hook over the back of his office chair.
A tracksuit. He never wore them before lockdown but he decided to get a pair to lounge in and that was that.
I always get him a not so serious, funny gift, for Christmas and this year its a laird or lady title. Basically buys you a tiny, tiny bit of land on a castle grounds in Scotland and the proceeds go to help maintain the land which i though were good.
He also gets new pyjamas, slippers and mug in the family christmas eve box and they count as christmas gifts too.
I might get him some more little bits to open on the side.

Main present:
I've booked him a session at our local golf club to test golf clubs to get the feel of them and the money to buy his chosen club. I knew he wanted a Ping hybrid fairway but apperently its not something you buy without testing so ive had to get his imput on this one.

Borg lounge hoody
Fluffy socks
Bag of Hotel Chocolat favourites
Large tube stack of pot noodles

Stocking: deodorant, shower gel, handsanitizer, golf pens, nose trimmer, choc sprouts.

OrangeIsTheNewTwat · 27/11/2020 09:37

A t-shirt
A bottle of whisky
A game for the switch, he doesn't have any yet.

We have a 3 item /£100 limit.

StCharlotte · 27/11/2020 09:37

A rowing machine which is the only thing he's ever actually asked for. I was fortunate to receive a generous bonus from work so could afford a better one.

Luckily he knew about it because it arrived yesterday with a bloody picture on the box [eyeroll].

I will also be doing him a stocking as, off the back of another thread, I found out he never had one as a child. Suspect it will mostly be fishing gadgets as that's his hobby. He should experience the soft crunchy squeezy sensation of a Christmas stocking at least once in his life Smile

Siw2020 · 27/11/2020 09:54

@sobsanta

A dash cam, the new Assassins Creed game, black leather trainers and a deposit for a new tattoo.

We not going mad as we really don't need a lot. God Christmas presents are boring as a grown up. I still quite fancy a Mr Frosty - never got one as a child.

ShowOfHands · 27/11/2020 10:56

I wish somebody would do a stocking for me. I still hang mine up every year and hope somebody will fill it but after 22 years, I've almost given up hope!

Lovemusic33 · 27/11/2020 12:34

I don’t have a dp/dh but have just bought my dad some car cleaning/detailing kit as he has just bought himself a new car. He’s really hard to buy for but I stumbled upon a small company that makes amazing car products whilst at a festival a couple years ago. I’m just hoping he likes it, going to make a hamper with it and add some posh polishing cloths and a nice air freshener.

DreadingSeason2020sFinale · 27/11/2020 13:06

An under fleece for his dry suit (thank Thor for him having hobbies and giving me an idea what to buy!), an external hard drive for his Xbox, socks and boxers, Marzipan fruits which we only ever buy at Christmas.... and Lynx Africa.

It wouldn't be Christmas without a Lynx Africa set!

Bellbell1199 · 27/11/2020 13:10

I am so stuck for OH at Xmas.
Keep asking, he says he doesn't want or need anything.
He hates tat presents, like socks, toiletries.
Doesn't drink.
Is into vinyl trance but I wouldn't know what to buy him or what records he wants..
Bikes a lot, needs new handle bar grips and tyre... But again I wouldn't know which ones he needs!
