Tesco Delivery Pass Xmas slots reminder

If you have a delivery pass with Tesco, you'll be able to book a Xmas slot tomorrow (13th) at 7am

You can only book one slot for the week starting 21st December and there's a 95 item limit.

I think non-delivery pass holders get to book on the 20th but check your emails from Tesco

I was bored of looking at the turkey on my ipad so tried to get in on my phone and got straight in

I was logged in from 6.45, just managed to get a slot. Am also logged in on my parents account to get their slot, and am still waiting on that account!

Been on an hour an ten here. On the app and the website and DH is trying on his account too. Tesco don't have a queue going on, it's a bloody lucky draw. It's absolutely ridiculous.

Over an hour here. Was refreshing, then heard it was best to leave it. It was never this bad, even in the height of the first lockdown madness. Do I give up? Or keep waiting? I do NOT want to shop in person in the middle of bloody December. If this is anything like before I will get on and there will be loads of slots.

I got in at 0710 and booked a slot then checkout failed and it kicked me out. I've been in the queue ever since. I'm hoping my slot is still reserved but not hopeful.

Im now at work and still in a queue! Hilarious! Whats the bloody point. App not doing anything just same queue message that I got at 6.50... website saying same.

I feel invested now but also think i really just need to take my business elsewhere...

Do we think it'll be like this all day? I can live with not getting a Christmas spot but at the moment you can't do anything, so if it doesn't ease up my delivery tomorrow will just be the bottle of champagne I always use as a placeholder Blush

I'm amazed that anyone expected anything different. There are literally thousands of people all over the UK currently trying on multiple devices. It's not going to be instant.

I've been queuing for over an hour on my laptop. Opened up the website in chrome just to check and I'm straight in! Try that

Just went on to check the updated arrival time of my 8-9am this morning slot and the ipad app is in a queue while the desktop let me straight in.

(Don't worry I've closed both straight away)

My store is a large Xtra store in a town of only 60,000 people so maybe that helps?

Hi Tina, I'm glad you managed to book your slot :). I can confirm the remaining Christmas slots will be released next Friday at 7am for all customers who don't have delivery saver access. TY - Kelly.

I don't get why they release the whole country at once when the site can't take it. There's no advantage to any area as you can only get your slot from 'your' store.
Really fed up with queue. I bet there are people doing the full shop instead of reserving the slot and doing the full shop later

When, in March/April, I did wait an hour and gave up when I logged on in the morning there were loads of slots. Maybe this is all about now getting on the site and hopefully there are slots still there?

I had Tesco open on my PC & phone, my PC is still showing the 'You are in a queue' message, but the Tesco app on my phone suddenly opened up & i was able to book a slot.
I had been wait for over 1hour & 15 minutes by then.

I'm a bit worried that I'm not seeing a turkey! I've been in the queue since before 7am and my image is a delivery van with asparagus on the side of the van! 🙄 Am I further back in the queue despite being in it so early?

We have a delivery pass and priority slots-does anyone know if they are releasing priority slots at a different time?
