How many Christmas trees does your household have. Am I bonkers to have 3?

We have two. Both artificial.

I fancy another one for the upstairs hall. I need joy and light this year.

MedusasBadHairDay · 04/11/2020 13:43

We have 2, one for the living room and the kids get a mini one in their room (which they can decorate in as lop sided and annoying a manner as they like Grin )

Maisieme · 04/11/2020 13:44

I have one in the living room, one in the conservatory and a mini one in our bedroom!

Depends on your house! When we had a big four bed house we had two but now in a small two bed flat there simply isn't space.

Floralnomad · 04/11/2020 13:50

We have 4 , 3 downstairs and 1 up all artificial as real trees aggravate my chest issues ( and dh doesn’t like them ) .

maloofhoof · 04/11/2020 13:50

3
Real in the lounge
Fake in the second smaller lounge
Real in the conservatory

popcorndiva · 04/11/2020 13:50

We have 3 but this year i want less clutter so only putting up 2. Main tree in lounge then a smaller white one in the kitchen where we will eat Christmas Dinner

TheGirlWhoLived · 04/11/2020 13:52

I have a little 3 bed house and I currently have 2 but am considering moving up to 3. I have a large glitter sparkly one in the living room, a rainbow one in the kitchen and I’m thinking a pencil one in the hallway but it might be annoying

Maisieme · 04/11/2020 13:53

Oh I’m not so extravagant then!

Only one

Carpballs · 04/11/2020 13:59

One in my house, really looking forward to getting it up this year.

My parents have 3 in the main house (10ft in the orangery, and 6ft ones elsewhere), 1 in another (guest lodgings) and 2 in the other - all real.

I love it, their main house has such a warm, Christmassy feel to it.

I wish I had more room in my house for at least another tree.

LightThatFire · 04/11/2020 14:03

3 - all artificial.
One in the lounge
One in the conservatory
Youngest DS always has one in his bedroom

Shitfuckoh · 04/11/2020 14:07

1 in the living room, 1 in the dining room.
Tempted to get a small one (3ft or so) for the landing at the top of the stairs!

EasyLifer · 04/11/2020 14:13

2 slim artificial trees indoors, 1 in the living room and 1 in the dining room.

To satisfy our craving for a real tree without the mess in the house we have one in a pot outside the kitchen window which we put lots of lights on.

TrickyD · 04/11/2020 14:34

A nice big one in the sittingroom, a slightly smaller one in the dining room and a small one in the conservatory.

Cantthinkofausename · 04/11/2020 14:47

1 in the lounge, 1 in the games room 1 in the cinema room, 1 hallway, 6 smaller ones in each bedroom

Deelish75 · 04/11/2020 18:20

Real one in the living room.
Fake one in the dining room.

HillaryWhitney · 04/11/2020 18:22

I have just one but my best mate likes to brag she has four. And a car park (she owns a pub 😀)

daisypond · 04/11/2020 18:23

Wow, I had no idea people ever had more than one!

olderthanyouthink · 04/11/2020 18:25

We had one for the last two years but I'm planning to get a second this year for DD to, as PP said, lopsidedly decorate

mmmmmchocolate · 04/11/2020 18:31

5, but 2 are in the children’s bedrooms. So I actually have 3... I’m eyeing up a 7 feet tall one though for the hall.

PanamaPattie · 04/11/2020 18:34

3 - drawing room, dining hall and orangery.

Holothane · 04/11/2020 18:36

2 snow capped one in living room, then a white one with pale green lights for the bedroom.

FenellaVelour · 04/11/2020 18:38

I think I’m going to put up two this year. One in the lounge, and one in the sunroom which can be seen from the kitchen where the dining table is.

Because why not.

ginsparkles · 04/11/2020 19:21

Erm 5.... we have a small one in the hall, a large one in the kitchen, a real one in the conservatory, a small one in the lounge and one in our daughters den. My husband is all about Christmas and the house is a bit of a grotto!
