Stocking ideas for DPs / DHs

I couldn’t see a thread on this, so thought I’d start one! DH and I do a stocking for each other and I’m totally out of ideas for him this year.

Stocking gifts from previous years that have gone down well include:
Wireless earphones
Wallet buddy
Meat thermometer
Glasses repair kit
Hand cream
Nose hair trimmer
Luggage scale
Photo magnets
Smart plugs / light bulbs
And always a nice pair of socks!

So far this year, I’ve got...chutney.

What have you bought that’s stocking sized that’s gone down well for DPs / DHs in the past?

These things look good if you know a BBQ-er, Fire pit maker. It's a match flint, so a permanent matchstick really. £9.29 from Amazon.

@anibendod - what do you recommend as a 'posher' car air freshener?We could do with one before Christmas

@dolphinpose I've been really impressed by the febreeze air vent ones. If you have Costco membership, a multipack from there is often cheaper than what you will pay for them elsewhere. Long lasting and work well without being overpowering.

I've also tried the yankee candle ones but didn't get on with them at all. Found them to be totally overpowering for the first few days then they seemed to lose their scent completely

A keyring made out of a part from a race driven F1 car!
Always socks!
Spirit miniatures - whisky / port (good way to get them something rare that would be very expensive by the bottle)

Dh stocking always has fizzy cola bottles , gold chocolate coins , socks and miniatures of gin

For my OH this year my ideas include a nice face cream he likes, a hat he's been eyeing up and a nice gin we had at a local pub recently that they distil themselves. I'll probably buy a couple of other bits like nice socks, his favourite chocolate and I am debating also some jeans he also liked. His main is a pair of boots! Just little things he's mentioned or seen while we've been out and about and I've made a mental note.

We have a now tv subscription. I'm sure last year I got the sports package on a voucher I put in his stocking.

I went to b&m last year and got mini bottles of gin (including pink/aimed at women as my DH likes them). I took them our the packaging and wrapped.

Every year without a doubt I buy boxies/socks, and Ferraro chocs

If they have nice knitwear then Johnston’s of Elgin sell cedar balls to keep the moths away. I’m putting a pair in DH’s stocking. They smell lovely and will be fun watching him trying to work out what they are!

Great car themed socks.

We've done those F1 keyring linked upthread as well, very popular.

One thing i did that was a big hit was a mobile pack, so a nice little bag, a decent phone charger lead (think it was otter box) and a decent heavy duty charger. All wrapped up with velcro cable ties to keep it all neat.

I always get an old car magazine from eBay, generally an 80's or 90's car he had.

I have to admit i am really struggling this year, so this is a place mark along with my suggestions!! I might see if the poppy shop has anything nice or help for heroes. I could really do with him getting a hobby!!

They're to split between DP and ex if he's allowed to spend Christmas with us as he normally does. Then I add posh nuts, chocolates and a tube of sweets.

To echo a pp the contour gauge is super cool for DIY guys, it takes the shape of the thing you want to cut around (pic attached)

Another idea is a magnetic phone mount for in the car (other pic)

We also have a nice garlic press that you crush the whole clove in without taking skin off

Great gift last year was that magnetic wristband that screws and nails stick onto.
