Crazy when I was on hormone treatment my periods could have lasted a month at a time. So I know the hell that it is.

Went to the garden Centre this morning and bought a lovely decoration. It's a little girl posting her Christmas letter.

That does sound like you have had a particularly crazy few days Crazy, I hope the tlc later helps.

I joined you on the schoolnight wine last night Neros (only 1 large glass) - DH had to wake me at 8.20!! Much needed. (DD was wandering when I went to the loo at midnight having not slept yet, so that woke me up more for a while to hear she was ok).

Work has been relatively productive this week (but manic) - I still don't understand a few topics at all (so the seminar I attended yesterday was double dutch!), and kept getting kicked out of another 2 during the week so gave up on those, but I am making some progress on the main project.

Rain forecast overnight, and showers in the morning - so it's going to be a wet session building shelters in the woods with the Cubs. But DH tells me he is not working this weekend (I'll believe it when I see it - but he is now 4 months solid doing 60 hour weeks so he really needs it). Almost no progress on Christmas (except that my cards have been delivered so I can start writing those), I need to get moving with overseas parcels very soon....

I have useless cannula veins too. Luckily I'm ver' ver' brave (outwardly anyway) but my veins shriek and dive for cover .

They can never find my veins when I'm in hospital. I always seem to get new, inexperienced nurses who poke and prod, and as I'm anaemic my arms are always covered in bruises afterwards. One time I remember fondly was when they couldn't find one, they called an extremely experienced phlebotomist onto the ward and he found my vein in record time. It must have been so unusual and so memorable that I even remember his name was Richard.

I used to have hard-to-find veins with v slow blood until I had children. I was once told at a blood donation session that I was a low bleeder!

My veins are fine unless I'm unwell or in labour

I've just ordered DD's last Christmas present so she is done. A few things left for ds but have camel camel alerts on them so hoping they'll drop then he's done too.

I suppose I should get dh something for his birthday and Christmas he just doesn't want anything though.

My DH is like yours, Wreck. And also has a stupid date birthday near Christmas. (As does Why!)

I've got him coffee, beer, chocolates x 2, undies and a bamboo top for running. To mix between the two.

Wish I had done all the main presents Wreck keep asking the DC for stuff that they would like but they don't seem to be listening. My DH just says he doesn't need anything arrrgghhh.

I didn't get the job sadly :(

Ah well it is the weekend and I am going to enjoy it!

We're watching Love Actually tonight...I was in the mood for cheese!

I also had to stitch up two Ty dragons which we got at Caernarfon Castle as they'd been ripped somehow. One looked like it had been 'Jackie Laverty'd'. Thankfully I've fixed them, though not without bollocking the kids for damaging them!

Watching 'A Special School' for the first time, really love it.

Really enjoyed Holidate :) Might watch Love Actually this weekend too as it starts at this time of year, six weeks before Christmas.

The feedback was that it was really close 70 but that the successful candidate was already a Business Support Officer. I am Business Support Officer! I think they had an internal candidate tbh.

most that's annoying. I've been for time wasting interviews when you suspect there's already someone lined up for the job, and they get it.🤷🏻‍♀️

Morning!

I don't want to be awake. But I am. Sigh! DS woke me talking in his sleep (in what sounded like a foreign language!).

It's chucking down again. I won't be able to dig the ground at the allotment until it's less wet, so I can hand pull or use the hand fork to loosen stuff, but no digging!

Most, it's frustrating, isn't it? Fingers crossed something else comes up.
