I have just sobbed my way through the Christmas episode of season 1 of the West Wing. I haven't watched the WW for the last 4 years one woman protest against the orange one so it was amazing. I love Mrs Landingham

Wreck my DH is like you. When he's stressed he plans future trips - flights, costs, accommodation, sights etc, the works. We go away every other Christmas and I think he's got the next 10 years planned out 😂

puss I've told landlady and sent her pics. She isn't happy, especially as he still only did part of what was left today. She rang him I think because he called sharpish and told me his business partner will be around to finish it all off on Monday 🙄

What time is the interview most? Would you prefer morning so you can get it out of the way or would it play on your mind for the rest of the day?

Woolly west wing is on my 'to watch' list but I haven't started it yet.

Also, I Thought it would entertain you to know that my absentmindedness is not over. Today I got dressed, did a days work and dealt with plumber & delivery man. Realised about 10 minutes ago that I'm wearing a black dress with royal blue pj bottoms (not the black leggings I thought they were), a white bra (which can be seen through the dress - not the skin coloured one I was aiming for) and odd socks (one purple, one grey with owls on). Sigh. Today has been a long day.

Crazy that sounds like one of my outfits currently - something on the bottom and something on the top, job's a good 'un At least you didn't go into the office like that!

Wreck DS never used to get wind when he was breastfeeding, but I used nipple shields and we had a lot of issues. I can't work out if DD's latch is okay - she is definitely getting a lot of milk, I can hear her gulping it down, but I can't see her mouth without adjusting my boobs, which throws her off. She's finally dropped off to sleep after an epic 54 minute feed...

Glad you're feeling perky, anyway Woolly. They always struggle to get canulas in on me - the bruises on the backs of my hands are only just settling down from last month; after 4(!!!) failed attempts by 3 different people including a consultant anaesthetist, they gave up and put it in the crook of my arm, which was a pain because every time I shifted DD to that side to feed while we were in recovery, I'd kink the line and they would have to come reposition us. I have scars from when I had them in for DS.

I expect you'd be in constant pain if the latch wasn't right or have that lipstick shaped nipple when she comes off. Hopefully it'll settle soon. Tricky things these babies.

Oh, I feel your cannula pain, Woolly. When I had my op last year I'd got too cold and they couldn't get a vein in my hand (4 attempts). I had it in my wrist in the end!

When I had DD they left it in my hand, but I had to ease myself off the bed after the EMCS, so it rubbed against the bones. 🤮🤮🤮

Constantly I haven't been sleeping since the election either.

My vains are awful too fluffy and I bruise so easily too that when they have to stick me 50 times I look like I've been beat up.

😂 I'm still not sure how I managed to put the wrong bottoms on (they're kept in completely different places so I was either half asleep or I put them away into the wrong place a few days ago) but worse - I don't understand how I managed not to notice the blue bottoms all day!
I was made to feel better by telling my sister only for her to tell me that she went to work a few weeks ago wearing odd shoes - one black, one green 😂

Wreck I'll check the advert now. I don't like the Amazon one but the Aldi one and the TK Max ones made me laugh which I need this year I think.
My favourite is still the Sainsbury's one from a few years ago, where the kids were doing a Christmas show. The little running plug makes me giggle every time 😂

I think I have an explanation for my outfit / feeding the dog twice. TMI but after period from hell that lasted 12 days, I had 4 days off and came back on last night 😩 So hormones are all over the place and that always ruins my focus / concentration. I've started work early again today, aiming to early, have a long hot shower, pjs on, hot water bottle on my belly and a crochet evening (making pac man fingerless gloves for cousins DS for Christmas).
