Hi, I slept till 10.45 this morning and could have slept longer but I heard my daughter come in from work. I suspect only 1.5 hours sleep yesterday morning had something to do with it 🤣 Brought a new Christmas tree this afternoon, we had a family trip to a local garden centre. My son brought me another cactus to add to my collection as well.

Yes we even have the pokey thing that came with the fridge and it's all clear

Ds didn't get up until dh's alarm went off this morning so maybe the almost two hour nap yesterday reset his body clock 🤞🏼

My alarm didn't go off today, but I woke 5 minutes after it normally would and went for a run. First in almost a fortnight!

It's a murky day here so far. Bit like yesterday!

Morning. I've been at my desk since 7:30 and I'm shattered now.

The firebreak lockdown is over in Wales, although some restrictions are still in place. Technically you're allowed 4 people in a house (excluding under 11s) so I think me, dsis and dm are going to go back to our unofficial extended bubble.

We're doing similar to you with a few appliances Wreck. If the house move comes off, we'll be replacing our fridge freezer, cooker and washing machine (and dishwasher if possible). They're all on their way out (fridge freezes at the back, the oven randomly switches itself off and the washing machine display flashes for ages before you can use it and froze altogether this weekend so we had to unplug it for a min then plug it back in) 🙄
I don't want to waste money until we move though, so I can get things that suit the new house - fingers crossed because it's all still with the underwriters!!

Good news, the hotel chocolat advent calendar on Amazon now has an eta of Saturday

We've received a parcel today, it's our address but for some bloke called Derek 🤷🏻‍♀️ . Left in the "porch" which isn't a porch, it's a recess with the door in.
Do you think a little PO would accept it back, or should I drop it in at the sorting office? - I'll ask for a receipt, just in case it's someone trying to pull a fast one.

Marshmallow I've been before and it's amazing. I was looking at the photos earlier I had fewer wrinkles then and it brought it all back.

I think it's definitely from all the Christmas films I am watching too Wreck, watched a Netflix one the other day 'Christmas made to order' and really enjoyed it.

Did you do Christmas in NYC Wreck? We really enjoyed it but DH got really stressed with all the people around the tree 🙄
He was sweet though, and did a Christmas Eve Home Alone 2 tour for me - including going to a Christmas shop and picking up some white turtle doves for my tree

I watched Deck The Halls today. Such a fun film. Maybe I'll watch Christmas made to order tomorrow!

puss I was talking about the American election to my nephew today (he's 10) and I was a stumped because I wanted to talk about our president but knew that wasn't the right word. Took me a minute to remember we have a Prime Minister 😂

It was pure predictable cheese. Just what I needed!

Crazy we went the beginning of December. We saw the rockettes at radio city, Aladdin on Broadway (it had only just come out, top of the rock, Central Park, Chelsea high line, grand central station, New York library, Macy's, saw the station of liberty and went to the best 'secret' dinner and burlesque night. Had the best time.
