No holiday in October half term as we usually do has meant I've started shopping so much earlier. I will admit I spend a lot on my children. We have no family/friends so buy for nobody else.
Hopefully we can get ideas from each other.

Can I ask about the sizing of the kermit lounge pants? I can't see any waist sizes. My DD would love these she is a size 12-14 and likes loose clothes. Would you suggest a medium? Thanks.
OohKittens · 02/11/2020 14:14

@pinkksugarmouse I think a medium would be plenty big enough as they are mens.

I found Fortnite Monopoly on Amazon, which my nephews will love. Didn't even know it existed.

Also bought a set of Harry Potter Knight Bus lego, and a set of princess dressing up shoes.

Lots more still to buy though!

Discovered a second hand community bookshop. Bought DD9 8 books, (old Animal Ark etc) for £2.50. She couldn't care less whether her books are the newest releases or old ones, she devours them quickly. These might not even last the Christmas holidays.

TheCrow · 03/11/2020 10:56

Cat socks and lovely moon and stars scarf for work friend so she's finished now.

Paw Patrol Chase hat and Paw Patrol floor piano for nephew so he's finished now too 🙂

spagbog5 · 03/11/2020 11:56

Replacement pink mini fridge for dd3 (15)after getting a refund for the last one that never arrived and a small water bottle to keep in it while she studies. She will love it !
Set of wine glasses and gin tumblers for dd2 (21) as currently drinks from plastic beakers at uni Confusedso will appreciate this gift greatly.

pinkksugarmouse · 03/11/2020 12:23

Not sure this counts because technically DH bought it yesterday.
He has a Hotel chocolat subscription service and a box was delayed and said he ordered himself a small box in the meantime. Now I know he ordered one of the new Vegan boxes for me. 😋 He didn't say but he all but said if that makes sense.

It's the first year Hotel chocolat has put in a real effort with Vegan options so its exciting.

pinkksugarmouse · 03/11/2020 12:27

And nothing to do with Christmas but yesterday I bought a Syrian hamster 🐹 for me. 🥰

Absolutely I have had Syrian hamsters for years now. I think they look like little teddy bears. Their strength and skills are incredible.
The distance my little boy Lucky covered on his wheel last night put my effort on the treadmill to shame and I thought I was doing so well. 😂

I suppose I had best not take over the thread but I also had my first ordered Christmas present arrive today so that was good.

MsMiaWallace · 03/11/2020 14:08

Love Syrian hamsters! Only time I've had them is as an adult lol.

I've just bought x2 selection boxes whilst they're only a £1 at Morrison's.

Boxes of pop tarts. Had the brainwave of putting a box on the kids stockings!

snowmanshoes · 03/11/2020 14:19

I picked up a couple of Cadbury selection boxes and a Cadbury advent calendar too! Also bought a couple of books and the 60 seconds to win it game.

Vickles20 · 03/11/2020 14:32

Spent ages in Tiger today getting loads of Christmas goodies. They’ve just added their Christmas line to their new online shopping website They’re adding new things each day.

Also, Card Factory had some lovely Christmas things. Including candy cane tissue paper. I got the melting snowman for hot chocolates. They had chocolate shaped remote controls and credit cards.
