I was born in 85 but I feel like I should be a decade older if that helps? I've been told by my mum that I was born 'old' all my life, definitely not helped by taking up crochet and now cross stitch 😂 - doesn't stop her asking me to make her things though!

I got my early finish but didn't walk the dog as it was too miserable outside. I put a load of washing on and sat cross stitching instead.
Tea is now on and my house smells amazing - pork chop for me, minted lamb chops for DH 😋

Dd2 went to work in the office today. She popped to IKEA.

Mrs I love IKEA at Christmas! Our nearest is Southampton so don't get to go often.

QVC has Christmas Tree TSVs ( Todays Special Value) range from 4'-8' plain or snow tipped .I haven't bought one , my tree is sulking in the attic and my cats are still grumpying about the tree from last year .

Went out shopping today but it was tipping down so trying to dodge getting soaked .
The shops are slowly getting the Christmas stock in but a few weeks to go yet .

Dh went to the loo at 5:40 and left the door open so the bloody cat came in and woke me up. That's me up for the day then with another headache, obviously.

Morning!

Nobody is selling cats to me, I'm afraid! I don't mind them, but wouldn't want one (though the kids do!).

My work laptop showed up at 11 last night. The poor courier had had the WORST journey. We felt so sorry for him!

The weather is set to be abysmal today, so it'll be a housework and baking kind of day today. I might go round and do skirting boards again as I've noticed how dusty they get. Working from home allows me time to see such things. I could do without knowing, frankly! 😂

I'll get my laptop set up too. At least it'll help me tick over into new job mode, even though I'm at the same desk!
