Thanks @moonbabyandthebeast for thread title

Just a reminder you can watch the thread by clicking on ‘watch this thread’ at the top of the first message. It’s much easier for everyone than so many place marking every time which can use up a fair chunk of each thread to scroll through Thanks

Here’s Barbarara’s instructions from last year on doing clicky links:

Close double square brackets

Like this
[[www.amazingbargains.com bargain ]] but with no space after/before the brackets.
If I do it again without the extra spaces only the word bargain will appear in blue

For more links etc see message 2

If any link doesn’t work or you want to add something please let me know by @ing me Thanks

Hi - long time lurker and bargain-lover! Finally found a bargain to share: Amazon have the new (ish) hardback prequel The Hunger Games trilogy for £10 (reduced from £18.99). My husband and I loved this series so have bought it for him 😊

Apologies for long link: www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/0702300179?ref=ppx_pt2_mob_b_prod_image&tag=mumsnet&ascsubtag=mnforum-21

I have never heard of or played UNO but it seems popular on here - would my DS12 enjoy it and play against me and DH ?

Thanks from me too about the Sylvanian House. My little daughter will love it. I bought some Christmas cards too for free delivery...I just hope we are allowed to give them this year!

Yes Bea. It's a nice fun game. I play with my young children.

Hi, just popping on for anyone who brought the wooden apple baby toy from amazon last year.

I've just had an email from amazon to say they have been recalled as unsafe (choking hazard) I know most people were thinking of them as decorative items only but thought I would post just in case any of them did end up being given to kids.

Thanks for the schleich tips! Will look out for them on 3 for 2. Am considering the schleich calender as it look really good value for what you get and pay?

@elsielegallez thank you I didn't know about this book! My OH read the hunger games trilogy so this may be a good xmas gift :p

@BeaLola DS18 loved it in his teens and has just taken it to Uni with him hence my replacement.

DH has just announce ‘UNO where to get the bargains’... can’t beat dad humour!

Where are you getting your M&S offers? I can’t see anything on the app!

Also didn’t realise they do a Schleich calendar, so thank you for the tip

Thank you so much for these threads. So far I have sorted my DD (Lisa Angel and WHSmith), her partner (Sockshop), my grandson ((puppets!) and friends (Spode sale and Cocoa Loco).

My contribution is this company who I came across watching small studio tours in New York City on Youtube. Lots of cheap stuff.

Shein Code 2020AW gives 15% of anything.

DD4 did a tour of all our local M&S food shops [3 in total] but no light up gin to be found in any of them. Apparently all sold out by lunchtime. More deliveries in the morning so I'll try again then. [I didn't know that I needed gin so badly until I read about it on here!]

I received my (fake amazon version) oodie and it's soooo nice! I'm a size 22 so worried it wouldn't fit but it's still huge on me. I don't have a real Oodie to compare it to, but for £23 its great value and so soft.

Not sure if it’s account specific but I’ve just received this from Dr Botanicals. Worth a try if anyone’s doing a hamper or similar.

BARBIE - sorry I can’t keep up to know if anyone was looking, but my local Asda apparently has large size barbies for £30 and the barbie Ambulance for £30 (it’s £45 on Amazon!) this was in store.

Uno is fab. It's a firm favourite with dd12 and ds10. We always take on holiday too

Can anyone recommend some drawing pens from WHSmith? Two nephews 10 & 7 both great at drawing but only have basic felt tips or make do with whatever they can lay their hands on. Thought I might get something while the free delivery/10% off is on. Thanks

@juiceybetty do you have a link to the blanket? There's so many options on Amazon but I'm also a bit bigger so it would be good to know what would fit
