Thanks for the Brio farm link - I agree with PP that e RRP is a total joke but it's still a great price. Have bought for DS.

Have also bought the wooden rainbow for DD - I've actually had that sitting in my basket for a couple of weeks so that's a great spot that it's in the flash sale today!

Oh I meant to say re Gro clock - it's one of those things that you won't know until you try unfortunately. Didn't work at all for us (DS worked out how to override it almost immediately 🙄) but I have friends who swear by it. In hindsight I should have put it out of reach from the start and then it might have worked.

Fuckingfuckssake - I am sure I saw a crocs code upthread.

I am a kayaker and other ideas are a whistle, a waterproof pouch - I have one from mountain warehouse - and a very large microfibre towel. The crocs would be good too but I tend to wear my water shoes until I get in the car.

Jumping back to whoever mentioned Ticket to Ride, we love it. I'd buy the European one as your starter (the expansions are fun, but don't actually come with the playing pieces you need). Scandinavia is only for two or three players, and America is just a bit... boring if you're used to the European one which has things like tunnels and ferries.

I can’t remeber who posted about wowcher but I’ve just fallen down their rabbit hole for a bit...

For people wanting the photo tiles the had some - between 2 and 9 for £2-£9 and postage that approx doubled the cost ( and it’s not letting me back in now to check).

They also had a £1 special deal (post about £6) for a small photo book, canvas or big pile of prints...

Could be useful for little presents?

Gro Clock has saved our sanity here! I think it’s definitely worth a go. They seem to come up fairly regularly on Facebook marketplace around here- maybe try and get one second hand so that it’s not as much of a ‘loss’ if it doesn’t work out for you.

I made use of the WHSmiths 10% off and 3for2 on the art materials recommended earlier to get some coloured and black drawing paper and metallic drawing ink set for DD to go with the watercolour set I got from Amazon.

Did I miss the WHS offer? Or is it still on?
